You also often use 'besides' when you want to add some extra information to what you said before. For instance, 'I think I'm too tired to go out tonight, besides I'm trying to save some money'.

another tip for people learning English (I'm from the US) we use a lot of filler words, so words such as, "like, so, uh, uhm, hmm" are ways you can sound more like a native :) we also spend a lot of time talking, so don't talk *slow* but don't stress about talking too fast either

Your Japanese "Tonkotsu Rahmen とんこつラーメン" pronunciation is amazing!
You aren't American, are you? You are Japanese definitely! : )
Your one is better than mine because I'm from Osaka Japan.
There is Osaka in Kansai area in Japan. And Kansai area people have unique pronunciation.
    So I'm jealous : )

Japanese pronunciation is not difficult so much but the grammar is so hard, I think.
Then, you should not come to the Tohoku area in Japan because it still has radioactivity contaminations so much.
You might want to go to Hokkaido in winter, Kobe in spring and autumn, and Okinawa in after rainy season (now) when you come to Japan. I love these places!
