😂after month of overthinking , the legion go..is in all questions my fav. the other divices have to small displays. i think next month i would buy one...
Dude, thank you. I've been undecided about getting a LEGO but after watching this clip, you convinved me to buy one and set it up just like that. Subscribed!
Idk why everyone complains about the battery life, I just got mine today, at 100% i downloaded tubi and watched video for an hour or more then browsed around and played a game for another hour and the battery only dropped 20%, I'd say that's pretty good for what it is, just need to use the power saving features instead of running it at full power lol, and I'm sure the battery consumption increases with games but even so for what it is the battery seems pretty good in my opinion.
The battery is fine as long you lower the resolution and fps to minimum in the game and use power saving mode, the game does look bad but you do get a lot of playing time. I only do this during blackouts, otherwise i prefer to play 1 hour with the game looking good
Love your videos mate, just picked up a legion go as I feel like there’s no point getting the rog ally x when a 2.0 is probably on the horizon. Will be implementing a lot of your tips so thank you. Just a side note, I prefer your less polished style of videos than you get with a lot of the other guys, far more relatable. Keep up the good work
Hey love your videos, but curious can you show a video of what its like to suspend and resume a game on the Legion Go (i.e., turn off device, come back to it later and pick up exactly where you were). My fear is that function probably sucks on the Windows handhelds and for me, its a critical thing that I need (i.e., like on Steam Deck its so nice, so quick and easy).
Great video, as always 👍. Could you do another video about GYRO for Legion Go? One for Windows and a second for Bazzite. That's the only thing that's problematic on this device. In Windows, turn it on by pressing a button, and in Bazzite, you can do that, but then the sensitivity or response isn't ideal. When I compare this to the Rog Ally, I don't have any problems at all (Windows and Bazzite); it works flawlessly.
New to pc gaming and just picked up my Legion Go this weekend , will definitely look into playnite and bloatynosey for my LeGo. How do i go about installing playnite?
nice content 🔥… the losses scaling app is bought from steam? after buying from steam will i own the app forever after online on my device or i will still need to pay for the app? and after installing the app on my device so i need to open steam app before i can open the losses scaling app?
Yep, you but it from steam, and once you do you won’t need to pay again. And yes, you need to have steam running in order to run the app, but steam will be running regardless when you’re playing a game.
I actually go medium on everything then ultra on textures then fsr quality. Sometimes I’m at 40fps sometimes at 25, but I still love it because I like to play that game as if it were an art peace instead of an fps you know?
@@CyberDopamine one more thing... What are your thoughts, or if you have done any tests, on custom/3d printed backplates with bigger "holes" for more air conduction...? Thanks ✌️
With Bazzite OS and the things you mentioned here, plus the bigger screen, more powerful hardware, I think this video just sold me on getting Legion go over Steam OLED. I'm not sure which looks better, but I imagine it's the Legion go despite it being LCD over OLED, due to the bigger screen and higher resolutions. So the one thing that was keeping me stuck in limbo between the two was how smooth the OS and experience to play games is on steam. I wasn't sure the hassle would be worth the bigger screen on legion Go and that would men I'm less likely to pick up and use it. But that sounds like it's fixed with Bazzite OS. - Can I ask you, is the legion go worth it with Bazzite OS? and does the bigger screen look better even over OLED?
I have both and I still play my OLED more because the Legion Go's battery life is abysmal. I don't yet have Bazzite on it though so that may be somewhat improved there, but what you have to keep in mind regardless is that the chip inside the Legion Go, while it is more powerful than the deck by some amount it is not significantly so that it can always afford to run games at the higher resolution the screen allows for. So say for example you want to play Elden Ring and leave it at 1200p... well now you're getting fewer frames than you would get on deck because it's pushing more pixels. You can obviously drop the resolution but then it just looks noticably worse playing the game in 720p on a 1200p screen vs playing it on the 800p screen of the deck... To me, while I love the Legion Go for what it is, it is solely my "games that don't work on Steam Deck" handheld and something I use rarely as opposed to my Steam Deck, they both have their place but I still think the Deck is the winner of the two. P.S. The Legion Go screen is actually amazing and if it weren't for the battery life issues, lack of a physical Steam/Home button, and my other personal gripe being the controllers being sort of uncomfortable it would be a perfect handheld. Hopefully Lenovo learns from what people haven't liked about this model and releases a refresh like the ROG Ally just got, it sorely needs a better battery, and maybe just to forego the detachable controls gimmick altogether.
Did you test Legion Go with 32gb ram "upgrade"? Or keeping it stock is still fine? Expecting to get GO tommorow so this videos are gold for me :D Great content.
I wouldn't go that way. With the power that the Legion has, you don't need more than 16GB of RAM. I have a dual boot with Bazite and it works really well.
I always just have it launch i to big picture mode. Uses the cool little steam deck start up video. But this app is cool as well. Is it on steam or just a windows app? Bloaty Nosy is exactly what I ha e been looking for.
