BTS and Sienna have such a great relationship. Always happy to see BTS and BigHit endorse The Lab so much and always choose to work with them. Can see the great amount of respect they have for each other.
The biggest critics of BTS are the boys themselves. They would request repeated takes until they are satisfied with their performances regardless whatever they do. Thanks for the reaction! 💜

Their relationship with The Lab is SO cool! They danced with BTS at their LA and Vegas shows recently! I got to see them in Vegas and the talent in that crew and what they add to the stage is incredible! You should check out the Behind the Scene for this video. Please do their Danger MV and dance practice. Most of their videos have behind the scenes. I love the dance practices cause it shows the whole choreo that you don't see in the videos.

Sienna and The Lab dancers performed with BTS at their PTD Las Vegas concerts FYI, NamJoon did a shout out to them on D3.
The behind the scenes of this is so fun to watch, but they were SO tired (and hot)…it was insane. Their choreographer is usually right there too, in case there are questions or the guys are wondering how something looks. Its a family situation for sure haha

Their best performance of all time for me is "Black Swan" on The Late Late Show With James Corden and runner-ups would be their pre-2021 MAMA/MMA award show appearances. :)
On is beautiful, they are all incredible, and everything is incredible and JImin, as usual is just being even more insane , I can't take my eyes out of him, what an incredible performer, his dance moves! his voice!
This one is great, because it showcases the dance aspect. The other one is also great, but more cinematic, as in it's a full out movie that tells a story, with parts where they're dancing. If what you want to highlight is the dance, then this is the best video for it.

My favorite thing about the choreo version is hearing the lab getting hype on the breakdown. My favorite part of dancing was always the burst of energy when people were cheering and yelling while dancing

They first collaborated for ‘On’ with BTS and since they’ve worked together a lot! During the recent BTS concerts in US and also at the Grammys The LAB are the backup dancers…

Mic Drop, Dionysus, Spring Day and basically all of their choreo’ d from like 2014 present their choreo was good in 2013 but the really hard choreo I feel started to come to life in 2014
I do enjoy your reactions & thoughts as a choreographer. When you pause to make a comment, I wish you would rewind just a tad when starting play again, so you aren’t missing something you didn’t know was coming. When you paused at the end of Jimin’s opening verse, you missed the cut that made Tae appear almost out of thin air.

What I have come to love about this video is that it shows just how out of order videos are shot. You can CG a lot of things, but those are natural shadows. So if you know which way the Sepulveda dam faces(which is where this was shot, I grew up near this park) you know what time of day it is by looking at the shadows.

Also that is the Blue Devils Drum & Bugel Corp! The filmed this in January 2020 in Los Angles right before the COVID outbreak. That is why they did not get to perform it live for almost 2 years. yeah you can tell by the shadows they are there for hours and it was not that hot. About 65 degrees.
Gosh I got emotional watching this... remembering how hard they worked on ON, the performance, and the tour... Always love seeing their professionality and dedication appreciated thank you! And yes the LAB are amazing and one of my favorite things about this performance is seeing them cheer and hype BTS in that last dance break!
I'm not sure if you've seen their Spring Day dance practice but that choreography is so beautiful and complex!!!!

I love World of Dance too and I watched the season with The Lab and Keone & Mari Madrid. And that was before I knew BTS. So I was really happy to know BTS worked together with both The Lab and Keone Madrid (he choreographed BTS Dope, Fire, Not Today). I think you would love those too.

What I love the most … one of the things I love about them is that they never lose face. Dance and energy - always delivered but it’s so hard to keep the COOL face if you know what i mean… but they always nail that too!
you may not react but you should definitely watch jhope freestyling.. You noticed him popping hard.. he is a freestyle dancer and his movements are so smooth. watch his dancing vlive in 2021. Im' sure you'll like it

AAAAA! ON is one of my favorite choreography :D for older songs choreo I suggest watching Fake Love. Incredible detail, control, musicality, and just overall masterpiece! I'd love you to check Idol as well. Danger like everyone says... And their concept trailer.

I’m glad you loved this as much as I do. I’m an older dancer who teaches Zumba now. And a friend was really into BTS….so I brought Butter to class. BUT…I fell down the rabbit hole of their choreo. And I’m absolutely in awe and amazed. Every time. I guess I’m Army now 🤭
Intro performance concept trailer. They performed it live on an awards show years ago like 2014/15ish. The cameraman didnt do his assignment kept panning everywhere. They did a separate video on their YT channel with the shade for the cameraman on that awards show.
It's on the LA Dam, the one that keeps showing up in movies and videos. The Lab is their go to Dance Studio when in US, for most of the things
The first time this video came out I watched it on repeat like 50 times. It’s mesmerizing. I showed it to my sister and she is not ARMY and she could not get over the choreography. It’s just such a visual feast. There is not a time of the hundreds of times I’ve watched this MV that I’m not struck anew at their talent

I want to add my recommendation to that of many other commenters who have suggested diving deep into BTS’s earlier choreography videos, like including 2013 to 2017. They put out some amazing dance routines during that time. But one of my favorites that I really want to encourage you to watch is called FOR YOU, the CHOREOGRAPHY version. It is absolute perfection, almost like a ballet. I love everything about it: the setting, the outfits, the melody, the vocals, the way the beginning of the routine and the end mirror each other, and of course the dancing is just everything. So please put FOR YOU on your list!
I LOVE the early routines that others have mentioned, including the SBS PERFORMANCE dance practice, the INTRO PERFORMANCE trailer, the BTS CONCEPT TRAILER in all its incarnations, the dance practices for DOPE, DANGER, ATTACK ON BANGTAN, BOY IN LUV, I NEED U, N.O, NO MORE DREAM, WE ARE BULLETPROOF PART 2…….these all show the creativity and innovation of their choreography from very early on. I also encourage everybody to watch these videos multiple times so you can focus on each member individually, especially like watching JIN, as he works so hard and has such fantastic dancing in these early routines, it’s just amazing!
There are a lot more videos and live performances to recommend, but it’s easy to overwhelm a new person with suggestions and over-abundance of eagerness to share the wealth that is BTS, so I’ll stop there. I’m sure Lindsey will make time in her schedule to follow some of our recommendations and it will be so much fun watching her enjoy herself, and I am especially looking forward to watching her perform some of this choreography. She’ll be fantastic!

They are and have always been hard working and dedicated to show the best performances… behind the scenes shows part of that hardship and it feels so good to watch someone appreciating and commenting on how hard it can get and be to produce such work.. I would definitely recommend less appreciated dance performances because I believe BTS does so much more and did great performances that are less appreciated generally… best of me and let go are live performances that as well are butterfly and tomorrow are great too .. I appreciate any reaction videos but would just love if you would react to them .. I would also recommend focus and fan cams of the members together of individually because those are just hidden gems appreciated only but those watching them .. it’s been years and I still go back to fan and focus cams religiously to appreciate so many moments and it never gets old … there is so much content I don’t even know where to point u at

I saw the Behind the scene when they made the MV for this. There is no green screen. It was as you said "hot as shit" out there. Also, this is a great version because this includes the ON dance break, which is difference from the other MV.
So glad you reacted to this. There is a "behind the scenes" that shows this shooting day if you are interested. I agree with some others, the older dance practices especially are so amazing and raw like you enjoy. Also the extended Dionysus dance practice is a MUST. There is a version that is longer with the mini-solos ahead of it for one of the year end award shows that I really hope you react to. Thank you!!!

i don't know if someone already said it but this video was recorded with a drone. The guys mentioned that to film properly the drone had to come really close to them. The fact they had to perform for so long and act as if a giant drone making insane noises wasn't so close to them makes me appreciate the video more.

The Lab were the dancers for all 4 of the BTS PTD concerts in LasVegas. I see in the comments that folks have said that there are several behind the scenes videos for yhis performance. One in the studio and another that is in the studio and shifts to the actual shoot. They are seen with ice packs and fans in between takes.

BTS “Intro” performance trailer - they performed it live but the camera work was bad so they uploaded a video showing different angles of the same performance. It’s outstanding!

Intro performance trailer is definitely in my top 3 "look how good they are!" videos to show people. If dance could be a "bias" this would be mine, with "bias wreckers" from their award shows taking turns, lol. Boy Meets Evil has me by the throat too, but MAMA 2016 of it... chef's kiss!
OMG, YES!! Their own recording of that is just excellent, from the outfits to the backup dancers and everybody's precision, to the excellent camera work that every TV show should be paying attention to and learning from!
Hi Lindsay...At the time of their debut/debut in 2013, they went to Los Angeles to take a hip hop course with Siena and since then they've become friends...BTS invites Siena and The Lab a lot to all events outside of Korea and it seems that they went to Korea to extensively rehearse this song also to present in several programs there in the USA....there are videos telling their story...and it seems that the band or orchestra is also the same and these people love BTS as much as we do.

Have you watched their performances on MMAs? If you want, I recommend you their best performances on MMA 2018 and 2019. Those best of best performances for me.
I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.... REACT TO DIONYSUS MMA2019 DANCE PRACTICE or the live performance .. but i suggest watch first the dance practice youll able to see every details of the dance moves...that was so beyond amazing
Before watching that dance practice to break down the dance, you should watch the performance for the visual feast & OMG moments that will be lost if you either only watch the practice or watch it first. The performance is long (which I know ARMY is up for) so maybe you'd prefer a part 1&2

It’s because this one isn’t a “Music video.”
Kpop draws a line between “MV” (basically a movie/storyline, $$$$$ etc) and “Performance video” (just the dance, doesn’t move around) because fans want to learn/cover them & so just shows you what you’ll see on stage (basically a “costume” version of a dance practice). So groups sometimes release 2 versions, or in some cases just a performance video if it’s not a title track but a very dance heavy one people will want to cover.
You’ve seen/heard of “Random play/Kpop in public” events right? Before Covid (perhaps starting to pick up again now) I just couldn’t think of a better way to get kids out of their room (and off the computer screen) and actually excited to move/exercise. I saw one in New York where NCT (happened to be on tour) actually unexpectedly showed up & danced together with their fans (and also seen times when this is planned). Is it just me or is this kind of thing unique to Kpop?? It seems very new to me but I think it’s awesome!

my friend was actually a dancer in this video, the grand central one, the dance practice, as well as chicken noodle soup and he said they werent allowed to talk to them but that bts were all super cool and nice people even irl
