I love portrait miniatures and fortunately these were being produced well into the 19thc and can be collected for reasonable prices. As a dealer I have been lucky enough to have found a few.

Jan van Eyke also produced miniature artwork that was beautiful. Many people forget this and recognize him for larger masterpieces. Thanks for sharing these wonderful productions.

Oliver and his son couldn't touch Hilliard! Hilliard was so much more imaginative and had such a finer hand with watercolor!
