Top Lit Up Draught gasifier stove.... Try some 5 inch long, 1inch sq wood stacked vertically grilling the fire box loosely, light wood wool on top and see how well it does.
Will do
Been thinking about getting one of these. You just pushed me over the edge. Going to go pick one up today. Thanks.
Your welcome sir!
I just picked one of these up and the pathfinder stand to place over the top after seeing it on another video and tried it out and I agree it is a great addition to the back porch or tail gate. Not going to carry it packing but camping from a truck you bet.
Fits perfect with the solo stove campfire nesting pots
Great video on exactly what not to do with a gasifier style stove.
What not to do?
I didn't realize there is a super special way of burning tiny pieces of wood!! 😉😉
@@Daydreamadventures1981 maybe I came off wrong man but loading that thing all the way up like that is not how you use a gasifier style stove. It is what it is. Not my video lol.
@@XxOpiesGearReviewsxX yeah i know i said as much in the vid !! Thanks for the comments though
@@Daydreamadventures1981fire should be lit on top of the pre-loaded stove so that it burns down. Also loading your wood all vertically allows more fuel to be added and prolongs the burn. The goal is to get the gasification for the secondary burn out of the top row of holes making it more efficient. I’ve home made several of these and they really work well.
Can you put charcoal instead of wood?
Does it put out enough heat to keep couple people sitting around it warm?
Ordered mine of of eBay, the dealer shipped for free. Ordered on June 30 and received on July 2nd! Free shipping and only $34 plus tax. What a bargain!
I like your 4-quart pot that's Revere Ware I wouldn't put it on a fire pit
