Hi, we are going to Disney this weekend and we have a reservation for the Yachtsman Steakhouse on Wednesday. I basically wear nothing but either cargo pants or cargo shorts year round. I need my pockets. :) A nice pair of Sketchers(sneaker like in appearance) and I plan on wearing a colorful, collard Hawaiian type shirt. Nothing is ratty looking. From what I am reading on the net, this should be ok attire? I really do not want to buy a shirt and or slacks just for a one time event. I live near NYC and I have never had a problem up here getting into any place but then again I don't go to $300 steak houses either. LOL. So I think I am ok with the dress attire right? I am encouraged seeing "Bear" wearing a t-shirt. :)
As somebody who has Longhorn on speed dial, I think you're getting Longhorn confused with other random chains. Longhorn gives you a whole loaf of freshly baked honey wheat bread, not rolls, unless you're talking about their vegan bread. In that case, I'm not sure what their vegan bread is. I think you mean Texas Roadhouse's rolls since that is kind of what they are known for? And Longhorn also doesn't have a blooming onion. That's Outback Steakhouse. Also, don't knock Longhorn until you've tried it. Their Outlaw Ribeye and Porterhouse are some of the best steaks I've ever had in my life, and I've gone to many high end steakhouses with $70 steaks. Very rarely has a steak been better than Longhorn's, and when it is, it's only slightly so, and definitely not worth paying double the price for it. I'm a fan of char on a steak, and Longhorn does the char very well. Longhorn is actually the baseline that I weigh other steaks against to determine quality and value. Their steak is probably better than anything at Yachtsman. But yeah, if you're vegan or don't prefer steak, it's probably not the best place. Although I've heard that their Salmon is equally good in terms of exceptional quality for the value.

They don't really enforce the dress code at Yachtsman. As long as you're wearing a shirt, shoes, and not a bathing suit you're fine.
