Dá para ver que ele está numa abertura bem pequena, uns 50mm +-, isto torna o trabalho dele mais seletivo, mais lento, porém, do outro lado, o material já sai com uma granulometria bem pequena.

Se a abertura do britador de mandíbula estivesse mais alta, o material seria britado mais rápido, só que numa granulometria maior, oque ia dificultar para o britador cônico, pois ia encher a câmara dele, tornando o seu trabalho mais demorado, e possivelmente sobrecarregando-o. Na usina, todo o processo deve ser bem estudado, para não sobrecarregar nenhum equipamento em particular.
