Actually Raynor's wife passed away long ago little after the dead of their son. All that happened when Raynor was younger. I think Kerrigan is his second love.

That would be neat, but she at least needs a grasshopper-y insect-like skin. Maybe like a cross between a mantis and a grasshopper.

YES! The generic Ice Block should be removed from all characters which it doesn't make sense in. Jaina is ok, it is required in fact, but the next to loose this Talent should be Nazeebo and replaced with something more "witch-doctory" =D
while inside his own zombie wall, the zombies will absorb damage up to x% of nazeboo max hp
I'd rather they just take invulnerability away from him and instead give him Voodoo link: damage done to nazeebo is split 50/50 with a marked hero (ally or enemy) for 2 seconds. Give a super short range so he can walk up to an enemy and go for toad shotgun but also split damage evenly with them, or let him dump some of his damage on a high-health ally if he's pyro'd etc. Late game nazeebo gets away with too much I think just having a blank invulnerability, but this would give him a thematic, interesting skill mechanic that doesn't just negate what the enemy team does.

Spirit Walk, the WD's key movement and survival ability in D3. Nazeebo leaves his body behind and walks away as a spirit at 5-10% bonus MS for 2-3 seconds after which he comes back and his body reforms there.
But is that not Leorics ability?
Requesting a map called "Office of the Storm" where Kevin's an announcer on a big screen in the middle. You run around the Blizzard headquarters collecting Merch and delivering it to the cash register in front of the screen. Once you've collected enough, Kevin pops onto the screen, "We have some exciting balance changes for Blue team!" as your team gets a large buff. Or maybe, "We have some anticipated reworks for Red team!" as the enemy gets polymorphed into animated Merch for a duration. XD

lvl 4 talent makes it so that you also damage your allies with the explosion. double the carnage,double the fun
Primal grasp seems to have more range in the video.Either they buffed it,or its because the camera is a bit zoomed in ???
I had hoped they'd utilize her psionic profile more-she's the strongest Psionic in the whole universe supposedly. Obviously not make it exactly like her abilities in SC2, that would be the definition of imbaOPbroken, but they could play with those a bit like for example, give her a 2nd Heroic that gives her temporarily new, abilities or a talent that makes her attacks ranged, permanently or temporarily, she shoots FREAKIN' THUNDERBOLTS from her hands, would have been so cool...:/
but that wouldn't make sense with her mechanics, she's not a mage

I agree, Kerrigan is one of my favorite protagonists of any game series in history. She shouldn’t be reduced to drag and stab mechanics when her whole thing is incredible psionic power. She’s too boring for me to play in hots
Cocodufable With the narrow meaning of the term, I don't think so. In a broader sense, maybe. She does rely mostly on her abilities, which is typical of mages/"classic" assassins. I mean, if you look at the updated in-game descriptions, Nova is characterized as a mage (tho she's not in the roster of Mage Wars ecksdee).
What I'm saying wouldn't "drastically change how she is played" as HotS dev team says many times they want to avoid, just give her more options that are resonant with her character, make her thematically cohesive.

I think he, chen and zarya will get some love to next year, like a big meta change and role changes, so they can be good options as bruisers. Time will tell my friend, we have to wait for the momment, and i have been waiting for chen to be good a looooooooooooooooooot of time.
I've spent so long getting Rexxar to lvl 40, I don't want him to be changed now!

I mean, it's neat and all, but when I see a video talking about a Hero being "upated" I expect more than just a couple tweaks and a lone talent ability...

Awesome! Kerrigan was my main on launch and I just recently picked her back up and was just saying she needs an update.

The subtitles are a bit off... I expected "Queen of Blades" but I got "Queen of Blaze". I wonder if the Terran pyromaniac knows ;)
The smaller range is kind od a bummer but having two charges is really a plus for her in case the enemy still gets away. We´ll have to see how much smaller the range is now.
Now her Q is a calamity-teleport Ming, except she has 2 charges and still gets resets

Was honestly expecting a bigger rework...always felt like Kerrigan's talents are really old and she doesnt have any quests or talents that reward skillful play. I guess I'll try her out again. THe Chrysillis is a nice get-out-of-jail card, and there are some quality of life changes which is good.

The number of facial expressions Kevin delivers in 30 seconds is impressive.
Time to revisit Kerrigan! Those changes (minus the decreased range on Q) look really good!
I already love her kit so the reduced range on Ravage sounds scary, but everything else looks great!

I haven't been playing hots consistently for over a year now but from looking at these videos they look really good qol changes that still keep the feel or juice of the original character. (I'm looking at you, league of legends)
By any chance did some of the rework team use to play Quake or Unreal? :p

For those of you familiar with League Legends, Kerrigan's new Chrysalis ability is pretty much like Lissandra's Frozen Tomb ability but without the AoE damage to go with it.

don't know how many games ive gotten 0 healer vs 3 bunch of slack retards at blizztard seriously doubt they will ever fix this broken dumb game
I highly recommend playing Qm only with several friends or to get a first glimpse at new heroes - Unranked and Ranked are to go to modes. You will learn much more about the game and all heroes while having much more consistent games!
@@WHATTHEH4CKZ I'm not a newbie to this game. Problem with unranked is that the queue time is significantly longer than a quick match queue, plus the draft takes forever. While a quick match game lasts about 20-25 minutes with queue timer, unranked gets to League of Legends proportions with playtime. Not to talk about ranked, where I've experienced nothing but salt and even longer queue times.
I know many people who are only playing qm (while playing the game for a significant amount of time) for similar reasons youve mentioned. Although I'd say even if the draft takes the maximum amount of like 6 minutes (3 banning phases, very first ban 45s long, other ones 30s time = 3min15s + 3 pick phases each time 30s long =3 minutes -> total time amount = 6 min 15s) its maybe an average of 30-35 minutes. Ive played league for years and games there under 45 minutes of playtime barely happen. Ranked can be tough at lower ranks, but if youre playing well you'll eventually climb and from Plat on things start to feel a lot more fun and challenging. In any case I would recommend playing Unranked and Ranked, I've been playing hots since the early Closed Alpha (over 4 years ago) and it took me like a year to leave the comfort of always picking the hero I wanna play in Qm over much more fun and challenging games.
@@WHATTHEH4CKZ Never said I was low rank tho ;p. It's just, I rarely play ranked because of bad promo matchups. I'm getting the idea (not sure if it's actually true) that I'm getting promo matches based on my ranked mmr, which is a lot lower than my quick match mmr. I think it would be fun to see what whould happen the other way around. Also, shouldn't a game be enjoyable in every rank, not only in higher elo's? ;)

This is like a birthday gift to me since she's my 2nd main.
We now have a QQWER1 combo to stun backline for over 2 seconds and shield herself from counterattack.

YES, Blizzard. This is what we need. I love having heroes that are low floor, high ceiling - in other words, easy to play, difficult to master. That makes it fun for new/inexperienced/less talented players (or casuals) but extremely viable and competitive among high-skill rank players.
It also allows players room to improve with a certain hero (or in general) without having to completely change playstyle, talent picks, etc., or switch to another hero because so-and-so is only good in QM. The hardest thing sometimes is trying to improve your own skill level when you have to constantly bounce around to different heroes because the one you want isn’t viable due to team comp or whatnot. I understand all heroes have strengths and weaknesses, but I hate that it’s so extreme sometimes that a lot of heroes are basically unplayable.

Another melee assasin who needs an update similar to Kerrigan is Illidan. I hope you won't skip him.
Her other ultimate Maelstrom should last longer and get new abilities related to psionic abilities, for example, Q becomes a dash where Kerrgian flies forward in a straight line to catch up to enemies that try to run away, W becomes psionic slam that stuns enemies and E would be a micro black hole that pulls enemies together at the targeted point. So basically enhanced versions of her basic abilities.
Just speculating though, I just think it would suit her better that her ultimate would reflect her being the most powerful psionic in Starcraft.
O yes, there was a time where kerrigan was my main. Seems that time will come again soon, really dope.
Another nice mini rework. Would love it if she had a different attack animations for every extra leap she does. max of 3 different variations. Would make her kills look more impactful.
both of these updates look amazing! the added stun to Ultralisk is *PERFECT* - now the ult is *ACTUALLY* useful.... both of them have felt unsatisfying to use up until now....
vs the current WM deckard meta ultra has been amazing to just zone them away in tf

I just personally *REALLY* don't ever basically care which ult I pick - It's ironic because I play a lot of Kerrigan and I really like her other abilities - just that these two ults just never really feel that impcatful to me when I use them - Ultralisk dies almost instantly because most players aren't *stupid enough* to let it run rampant - Maelstrom is just literally *Burning Rage on steroids* - Ever since people started to raise an uproar about reworking Kerrigan, I personally suggested she should just straight up get brand new ultimates to better complement her assassin play style and coincide her ability comboing - but after seeing the Ultralisk buffs I ok with them - hope they did something to Maelstrom aswell and just didn't shown it in the spotlight

So in the end they didn't bother fixing the main issue which is her W + E combo is really easy to dodge and too slow to make it work properly.
I gotta say, respect to HoTS for going back and reworking old heroes. They didn't really have to do it.
great changes especially folding the reset talent into her kit but i think she still needs a touch more survivability like just make her passive sheilds not have a decay timer then she would be perfect

Seriously, I'm glad her new abilities make sense and fit her overall theme as the Queen of Blades. The new ravage functionality looks amazing for hunting people down in the backline.

Reducing the range on her Q is going to end up being a bad nerf for her. It is already hard to use outside of co-ordinated play without the range increase talent. Having to use multiple jumps to move the same distance will require more time and more mouse clicks, meaning longer durations of being under fire since you can be attacked from the starting point until you have landed and more potential for units to move out of range or in a less optimal direction to jump to.
At least someone has some brain here, all these "cool rework", "looks awesome" comments are depressing to read. =\
I never had any use for the increased range talent, but short jumps sure feel like a massive nerf to me. I hope this doesn't completely destroy the playstyle up to now - only hero close to lvl 100 because I love her skillset...
From what I understood, the first q will be same range, the second q (while the first is on cooldown) will have reduced range.
I like the chrysalis as a defensive option, but I greatly worry about how vulnerable she's going to be with the shorter range on her pounce. She has to get in range to be burst down or CC'd now before she can jump into melee looking at the range in the video, so I feel this may actually be more nerf than buff.
A few questions. 1. Q resets on minions/heroes but no mention of non minion non hero(while looking at the obj she is famous for getting value on) will merc/obj spawns count as minions? 2. Will her ult let yoy re cast the stun after it is spawned or is it one time only? 3. Can she insta cancel her new dynamic ice block. 4. How do her talents scale with nano?(if they do.) 5. Are there any talents to increase Q range? Maybe sacrificing charges, when she used to get extended range it added a very different feeling of combat tat I enjoyed! 6. Think yall will rework murky so he is not easily countered? I love him but he is only 10th pick atm. :/
