How about this new Triumph? do you like it?
I already told them I’ll take a green one when it arrives. It will look good next to my other triumphs. Next will be the 250.
Then I’ll buy a R25/3 from someone.
Ha,ha, no sour grapes their then?
Ha,ha, no sour grapes their then?
Gorgeous looking bike, but needed to be a twin with just a bit more grunt for me😕
@@barriewilliams4526 Only trouble is, it wouldn’t be a small single then would it? It’s like saying nice speed boat but it would have to have four wheels and travel on the road for me.
I already applied for a test drive here in France, eagerly awaited this bike overhere.
Wow the definition of British is getting Very broad these days isn’t it
Stick a couple of Union Jacks on it mate, very British
I think a couple of British guys chose the colour
Well India used to be British, so I guess Harley is a British bike too.
Looks an awful lot like they stripped the existing India 400cc sport/naked tupperware bike and added Bonneville gas tank, cafe seat, nostalgia LED headlight, side covers and polished engine sideplates.
If they could really sell it for $5000 then it is probably better than a RE of the same cost that struggles to eek 20hp out of 350cc.

Real Proper Triumph's were never British anyway "Made in England"
Excellent video, looking forward to the next one, hoping all the info was accurate!
Very good, clear info. without the typical BS. Thanks!
I like the Tiger version. Will be watching for it's release. Love that the put a six speed in it.
I'm awaiting to see how they price this, we seen how the Ducati 400 (Sixty Two) faired in the market with a price too high.
I like this Triumph 400 a lot, it's got just a little more displacement than that really nice Royal Enfield Hunter 350..
It smokes the hunter but the hunter is waaay cheaper than the 400
Interesting. I wonder how many they will produce and send to Australia?
Thanks for the updates Bacon On!
Love the look of this new Triumph, but it is down on specs in almost every way as my Yamaha MT-03. If it were a twin with a few more donkeys, I would have one in a heartbeat. A missed opportunity here by Triumph to produce a world beater in the category. Still, a beautiful looking machine that will sell very well on looks alone👍
Not for someone who never had a MT03.
Best description yet!
Jolie moto elle a l'air top 👍
nice to have an option to put the license plate/lights off a rear wheel bar; like the HD sportster S. This leaves room for a rear rack /rail for carrying a bag.
Will be interesting to see what the scrambler version sells for in the UK , I’ll be watching out for the reviews and give it a year or so to see if it wears well in the uk climate but it’s certainly on my radar as a potential future purchase
8 am more interested in how fast the Chrome falls off
Give it a year and the showrooms will be full of second hand models, you'll be able to pick and choose
Aqui no Brasil fará um baita sucesso
I have a Suzuki GS500, made in Spain. and a Nissan made in the North East England and looking forward to possibly owning one of these :-)
Thanks. Is it suitable for steep mountainous roads?
I like the outer limits narration 😊
C'mon, lets be honest here, this thing is about as British as todays Royal Enfield. We used to refer to this as 'badge engineering' back in the day when it didnt matter which of the remaining English marques you supported because they were owned by one group using the mix-n-match approach.
This is a good looking machine but at the end of the day, its still just an upmarket Royal Enfield.
@icanmakeariverintoocean3481 If it did not matter ,then it would be called a Jawa/Horly/ or any number of other Indian brands and sell for alot less money,,thats why it matters.
He says British Company.
@@lipsee100 Jawa was Czechoslovak brand (Probably disappeared when the Communist government fell)
@@g8ymw Yeah I know where Jawa came from,, but my point still stands, if the name does not matter ,why not call it Jawa/ or any other world brands,,lets face it ,,its an Indian bike pretending to be British.Nothing wrong with that,,,but lets not pretend tobe otherwise..
This is one of the best vids I've seen, well done!
Thank you very much
Would love a try but none available in the UK
Nice explanation. Subscribed

thank you for your support and for watching our content, a big hug 🔥
Nice review 👌
If it's not made in Britain, it's not a British motorcycle. You never hear of modern Royal Enfields being referred to as British.
One difference is that Triumph IS a British company and Royal Enfield is not. Both ranges are British designed.
Imagine my disappointment when I bought my 2016 Speedmaster and noted that the engine casing was missing that iconic "Made in England" badge. Then I discovered it was made in Thailand or some such, cos it was cheaper to make there. After which, it didn't feel like a genuine Triumph anymore, and that gnawed at my soul.
My point is, I don't think this new Triumph will appeal to traditionalists. And maybe it's not meant to.
@@roygardiner2229Dyson was a British company one time, don’t matter who owns it , it’s where its made. Have they got , made in UK , on them
Not English but for me Royal Enfield will always be a English bike. 😀
Come on, some of the Triumphs are not made in the UK!
Well even all the non British doesn't deter me been in the business all my life almost 70 and I love it thanks for the great review 😂
Eu amei a moto do começo ao fim mas dei uma brochada enorme quando vi a tampa do tanque que parece de uma cg antiga. Merecia uma tampa tipo aviador ou algo parecido.
i think this bike will be success , a good step for triumph IN THE WORLD
new range new market . we hope Triumph blued a factory in Egypt especially Egyptian have this bran 50 years ago any way thanks for Ur vlog
that's right my friend, medium displacement motorcycles are becoming fashionable... and even more so if they are cheap.
we will soon see a DUCATI 500 made in Indonesia hahahahahahaha
a big hug thanks for commenting 🔥🔥🔥
A bajaje vai produzir moto no brasil.
Bloody hell have I just seen a Triumph motorcycle with a front mudguard that’s actually functional instead of the usual effort that protrudes about four inches behind the front forks.
Hope triumph bring this to the philippine❤
Ah what about the spare parts of the bike is it available in local shop
I like this Triumph 400😊👍👏
Issue for me is service, can you get parts efficiently and economically. I been looking at Royal Enfield over the Japanese big 4 but now England has me waiting
Looks fun. Good top speed, and excellent MPG. Quality product I think. Any idea of £?
Probably far too much for what it is
Triumph is getting more like The Motor Company every year
Sell a basic machine that needs another 2k spent on it to 'individulise' it and 'make it a reflection of your lifestyle'
The bearded twill wearing Hipsters with their Bell RSD Custom 500 open face helmets will love it as they pretend to be Steve McQeen at The Bike Shed at the weekend
problem with the video is that assumption this bike is british..its an indian made bike made for indian market..britain and british market is an afterthought
The way I read this, this Triumph is an Indian-manufactured bike but is designed & marketed by a British company. Royal Enfield have been an Indian company since RE (GB) folded in 1970 (REs have been built in India since 1955) but following the resurgence of RE (I) in UK, they now have a Research & Development in UK. Would either brand be built in UK (making them a British company)? Although I'd like to see it, costs alone would rule it out. Companies will look for low(er) labour costs- the bikes would be prohibitively expensive & customers would look elsewhere.
The 400 speed looks very nice, the Scrambler on the other hand not so much, and I'm a big Scrambler Fan usually... no spooked wheels and the exhaust is mounted way to low for my taste... if I would look for a 400 CC Bike Hollywood probably wait for the adventure
exactly waht I don't want; spoked wheels and hi exhaust. Need passenger comfort and low passenger pegs.
Doesn't matter to me.thos is a well done video, photography very good, descriptive comment also!
Belle moto ..intetessanti
Super ❤
Thank you
Well let's hope that they sort out the messy wire/cable situation going on, especially near the headstock 😊
did you mean the accelerator & brake cables, esp on the right side?
@@vzvish357it's ride by wire with hydraulic brakes
@@specialized500 yes I know
@kevindarkstar were you referring to them?
uyyyy... how so?
that should be solved by bajaj people. jajajaja
I like it!
One of the most expensive maintenance items (valve clearance) is avoided, as usual. Can it be done by the owner with screw adjustors or is it 'shim-under bucket' ? ? ? ?
I am impatiently awaiting for the availability in Italy of this bike to buy the scrambler version!
La sto aspettando anch'io... 🤩
Same here in the US!
And I am waiting for Ducati to build a baby Multistrada.
Same here in India 😅 400X gonna be fun to ride. Also hoping they'll make smaller tiger version as well
Get a Fantic Caballero !
Like these videoes, but need to be a bit longer please!
Back in the day, I almost bought a 500cc Triumph single, but had such a hard time
starting it at the dealer, I bought a TR5T instead. Never regretted it, as Ioved the
TR5T handling and package (changed the rear sprocket for a Daytona sprocket,
and it was a great running machine). 400ccs does not do it for me, I like at least 500.
Triumph 500 single back in the day? So what model was that then?
THANKS
Well as a biker from 1960’s until now I would put the Triumph as a bike I would buy over the RE thats for sure. Also most bikes are definitely overpriced
As a Thaiumph owner I'm not so sure.
As a Triumph owner, both Merriden and Hinckley I wouldn't touch anything they make now
I am looking for 350/400cc mid rang bike for town and that can go motorways/ duel cariage ways as well go side roads that fuel efficant.
What is an "anti-rebound clutch"? Also, best robot voice I've ever heard but still wonky in places.
British beauty brought up on Indian soil. and bro nicely narrated ❤❤❤
Strange you didnt give a price in UK pounds although it's a Triumph after all.
I think you mean Rupees since its an Indian bike.
not british, indian bike for indians
No matter what the UK price is it's going to be far too exensive for a tarted up Indian single
@@avictorbell2835 They’ll paint a Union jack on it and call it a collectors edition, a limited run. Like sticking red yellow and green on any overpriced tat you want to mug poor Caribbeans with. Exploiting and misappropriating the flag and that embarrassing 007 model for the children. 🤮
I like this one 😍😍😍
Am I alone in hating AI narration?
Now that is interesting! I thought it sounded somehow unnatural. I agree.
I hate those videos with AI narration as well! I have a Triumph Street Twin 900 cc
No you are not
Still no UK price then, £6,500 is my guess, over priced just like everything in the UK
Never survive at that price, it's going to be hard enough to take customers from Royal Enfield when the Interceptor is at the same price. I'm waiting for me Himalayan 450 and 650 scrambler. Then hopefully ordering both together.
So same price as the BSA 650 !!!!
So good video👍 Perfect bike🤌Waiting in Russia🙏
greetings vtaly
this motorcycle will be available in all markets by 2024
thank you for viewing our content my friend ⚡⚡⚡
No way will this be sold in Russia until Putin stops invading Ukraine.
@@ianfutcher1518 Are you dumb? And what about politics? We are ordinary people and bikers. We can't change absolutely anything. Personally, I am against the war, but no one asks me.
Weight/ power ratio good. Should ride nice. Should give the Duke a run 4 the money
Who are you kidding
No videos I’ve seen have a soundtrack, Maybe it sounds like a tumble drier?
In the not too distant future, everyone's going to be getting into small bike. I'm thinking about it myself. 400-500 cc, no more. it's not about fuel economy, I just don't need 130 Triumph Sprint horsepower in the city, in heavy traffic.
A lot of manufacturers are having bikes assembled or manufactured in different countries, it seems to be the normal way now
Hearing the bike's engine at some stage would have been nice
It's greatest 💯☀️☀️
The quality and fit and finish are perfect as possibly could be, who manufactures all the components, or are these totally manufactured in India ?????
Why not in India? In these days quality manufacturing can be done almost everywhere.
@@rickrandom6734 Yes true, I would be happy if the components were made in India rather than China and assembled in India.
I dont understand why Triumph made a tasteless small bike when most people want a small boneville
To get the tills ringing
How many is most?
Hubiera sido bueno que mejor saquen una pequeña Bonneville de 400 cc que es una bella moto.
You're right,you don't understand!
Is this available in sri lanka?
Funny , my 2008 Tiger 1050 and 2014 Street Triple R were both made in Thailand. Do Triumph have any UK built bikes anymore?
The Rocket 111 is one of the very few still built in the UK
At least mine was when it was new in 2014, not sure about the new one, I think Honda makes that as it rides just like a big Honda
By the way, the suspension on the Scrambler is not the same as on the Speed because the Scrambler has longer travel suspension
It's Indian. Like fender make fender guitars in the us, butnthey a,so ,ake them in Mexico, India, china, Korea, Japan and Indonesia... But only one is an American, just as this isn't a Hinckley triumph
Triumph have no chance against the new 350 RE Meteor at £4000 area.
Brand fanaticism is a mental disorder.
I never knew that Thailand used baths as currency. No doubt they all have to take showers at the weekend as they've spent all the baths during the week. Strange how the typo (It's the baht) appeared in the subtitles and the annoying voice-over said "Bath". Also amusing was the Euro measurements (Which mean nothing to me) mixed in with the US "aluminum" rather than the preferable "aluminium"!
Baht.!
No info on ride, handling, on-road feel, acceleration, cornering dynamics or cruising comfort.
Basically you’ve read out some sales documentation but have never ridden it.
I want one.
I prefer the words "least expensive" over "cheapest"... sort of a marketing thing.
Will it beat the 2024 Honda CB 400
It won't even beat an original Honda 400/4 F2 Supersport from the early 80's
one day the number of bikes and cars in Eastern countries will be more than the number of humans, and these automobile companies can cherish about what they did to the world. A world full of automobile scraps outnumbering the living humans. Gracias🤗
hope future models get the exhaust low for passenger LO pegs !! They think anyone wants hi pipes to try their legs ?

Does it have a different throttle grip to derestrict the UK engine????? That power output is pathetic for an engine of that size and spec.
Just using a Iconic Name Brand to sell products ,many Companies are at it!
It will take long before finding Triumph spare parts in all big cities of Asia. No dealer-no sale.
Definately!!!
The fact that it if it is not made in Britain means it probably won't leak oil?
UA-cam please ban people who insist on calling these bikes British Motorcycles….
The Honda would be good comp. To this
I want one , why not tell us how many lbs inches of seat height, and how much money is it in Kansas City Missouri. The dealership here acts like they No nothing 😮
If this is British, then so is Royal Enfield, and the Hunter is only $3999.
If we're talking British, the Hunter should be £3124 at today's exchange rate!
@@RichardASK As of right now, the base Hunter is £3899 in the UK.
En Ecuador la Royal hunter cuesta 4.200 dolares y no todo los Ecuatorianos la compran porque es una moto cara para nosotros, tenemos motos chinas de muchas marcas y cilindradas mucho mas baratas.
Like most current Triumphs, it will not be made in the UK. Although much of the design was done in the UK. I daresay the "made in the UK" will cause quite a lot of discussion, arguments even....
The video is wrong... Wheels size and suspensions travel are different from the speed to the scrambler model. 19' inches front wheel and 150mm front and rear suspension travel for the Scrambler, and different alloy wheels. It is quite a big difference.
Bajai with a Triumph badge .
Its not retro so not a competator to RE.
And certainly not user freindly for home maintenance where the home Indian market cost is number one and its biggest market .
Bajai international sales are tiny
I suspect the 650 RE will still be cheaper.
Triumph IS a British company and Royal Enfield is not. Both ranges are British designed.
Ok looking bike but the Mash 400 looks better.
Why is the gear change on the left if its British ?
.
Prices given in many countrys, but not the UK, its UK owned after all.
When this narrator talks about Gallons, he's talking about the smaller US gallon of only 3.8 litres, not the proper Imperial gallon of 4.545 litres. Just thought I'd point that out.
Our standard was set by Congress decades before yours were in the 19th cen. A gallon which hybridized roman gallons to a false metric of 20oz/pint....
But yes they are different, despite any false pride on your part for an empire long gone.
@@STho205 I'm not British and I'm not taking his side, so I'll give you a third person's perspective: YOU are the one who sounds like a sore bum with a dent in your pride, not him.
haha! you must forgive the "British" attitude since Brexit, "Little England" thinks we're getting an empire back!@@STho205
Unable to realise its an artificial voice on the video so precise like human😭
Why didn't they make a twin Baby Bonnie?
What about AUD price ??
A tad under 9000 dollars,on road!
I own a Royal Enfield that was designed in the UK so I guess its British in a way.
It's a British as virtually every Triumph on the road, in mush the same way as all those forign made Harley Davidsons are 'American'
Which model did you go with?

How about poms born in India of English parents?what do you make of them?
