1993 Western Samoa / Manu Samoa Excerpt on Frontline New Zealand

In less than a month, our beloved Manu Samoa will be taking on the All Blacks at Eden Park on the 16th of June. I've already bought my tickets and I'm excited as to go the game and I'm hopefully praying that we can come up with some sort of upset and victory over the mighty ABs.
Our national team has gone through a lot over the last couple of years and I only hope that things will get better - especially with the #RWC2019 just around the corner - let's hope we get qualified for it.
Anyways, I wanted to share this short excerpt with you all on the humble beginnings of our team and hopefully, it can be of some sort of inspiration to all our players - whether it be in 7s, U20s or even in league and netball. This is our team. Our Manu Samoa.
This is dedicated to all those who represented (Western) Samoa (before it became known as "Manu Samoa") and Manu Samoa that have either passed on and/or are still around till this day.

I remember Fats from Christmas Eve 2009. He asked if he could sit with me and my friend at the bar, I didn’t have a clue who he was until my friend told me. He had the bartender making us all these weird and wonderful cocktails that made it on their menu the following week.

Oka sole,kalofae i gai kama ua leai gi ake,i think that 90s team was great because of that special generation born in the 1960s just like our 7s during the 2000s special people born in the 1980s they came together and just gelled really well

That's Robert Louis Stevenson Primary. Has a lot of children of expats and other immigrants there lol also the school many of the children of those with European heritage in Samoa attend.
