What does anyone else's record have to do with a separate DUI death ?
That’s what I’d like to know. How the hell is that relevant?
The guy in pickup still killed a kid plus then left the scene probably because he knew he was drunk himself.
You ran a kid over what's that got to do with the investigators
So long as the officer was not intoxicated during the investigation or arrest, his DUI offenses have no bearing on the case at hand. This is clearly a case of the defense attorneys attempting to muddy the water in order to confuse a jury.
I doubt whether the officer ever got intoxicated enough to impair this man, causing him to hit this child and then flee the scene.
No. Put him behind bars. Idc who did what. You killed a child and ran. If the officer did the same he should be charged the same.
A kid was killed, who cares about the officers own DUI history, irrelevent!!!
Is this the officer trial or the f-250 driver? Did the officer kill the boy?
Unless the disgraced officer had anything to do with the boy's death, his record is irrelevant.
I think they should just forget about the whole thing and drop the charges since one of the Troopers who investigated the hit and run was twice charged with DUI, and one was “in the middle of the afternoon” (gasp!) which is obviously totally relevant.
Just a bunch of f@#$@d up lawyer bullshit!
Why was a middle schooler heading to a trial in the first place?
I see what you did there.
That reach is sooo far ... It's horrifying 😶
He killed someone, and is just now going to trial, 5 years later ?
Prayer's go out to YOU and your family Young Man 🕊️🙏🕊️🙏🕊️🙏🕊️🙏
Cool name Wilbur!
You killed a kid and ran away… but the investigating officer did something wrong at some point in his life… society’s fault.
So his defense is that 2 wrongs make a right?
Wrong on all counts, and they should both be held criminally liable!
Driver should have just taken a plea deal, would have been out of jail by now probably.
I’m not guilty of no crime, because the cops arrested me. They broke the law somewhere somehow too
Rest in Peace Angel 🫶🏽💙🕊️My heart aches for his mother, father and family.
This didn’t seem to be an intentional crime…. So sad. Anything can happen at a blink of an eye . Fate can change at any moment…. So sad …. All of this
So What he is not The Driver That Killed Young Brother Man (13) This is so Dam Past Low down
The pickup driver looks like a drunk! I’m sure he was drunk when he hit him and didn’t stop.
😢😮
Sometimes I wonder, I really wonder if some of these hit and runs are really accidents. Nothing is stated that the driver was driving under the influence. I think some of these are intentional. Just like I believe some of these people who leave their babies to die in hot cars do so intentionally. Before the 2000s I'd never heard of such a thing to leave a baby in a car to die. Some stupid woman was caring for a young child, somehow he got to the pool and you can figure out the rest, then that same pos left another baby to die in a hot car. How the F is that possible? I just don't think these are accidents or forgetfulness. smh
lolwut 😂 I’m royally confused by the logic presented here.
So not right
He is trying to look like a little boy or when the dog on t.v. what is going to happen when he is going to make a new bond.
But, if the Kid was not on a Legal Sidewalk on Crossing on a Legal Cross walk the Hit and Run Charges may be reduced. But the Failure to stop for an accident charge may stick.
Maybe this will teach the unresponsible parent that their kids shouldn’t walk to and from home or to and from anywhere I always say that those parents are just as guilty because they just let their kids do anything like if they are adults
