And most important now - they say they are official refugees on payroll of UNRWA. Refugees cannot dictate where the refugee camps are arranged. How can a people call themselves by a name they can not write. The letter P does not exist in the Arabic script. So there is no historical bond to the land. When modern Israel was established they had been there for 20 years. The ones who lived there longer came from the Arabian Peninsula with the spread of Islam in the 7th century. By then 2000 years of Jewish history had been written. The land was bought not stolen. There is plenty of proof. Also Palestinians are not the Philistines from the Bible. Those were Greek seafarers from the isle of Crete.

West Bank was under Jordan till 1967. Gaza was under Egypt till 1967 and in 2005 ALL Jews left Gaza in the pursuit of peace. Israel provided Gazans with water, electricity, internet, medical services and part of the food for FREE up to 10/7.
Thousands of Gazans were crossing daily into Isarel for work and were paid 5 times the wage sin Gaza.

If Jewish Israeli's have a right of return why do Palestinan arabs have the same. The arguments being presented ignore the similarities between arguments that support both groups. It is being argued that just because your ancestors once lived on the land you have no right to that land when it is occupied by someone else. Isn't that exactly what happened when Jews commandeered land and even now are evicting families from the West Bank and from Jerusalem on the basis of a historical right to the land. You can not use the same argument to say that we have a right to something based on a historical connection and the deny someone else that right when they demonstrate a historical connection. The arguments are presented with confidence but are inconsistent at best and purposefully misleading at best.

Let's accept all the things Wilf says about the Palestinians are accurate as a starting point then look at Israel's actions since 1947.
For over 70 years Israel has committed all the crimes Wilf accuses the Palestinians of. Indeed Israel has committed more crimes in severity and number than the Palestinians. This does not justify the actions of October 7. It does explain the cause. Clearly history shows the oppression and murder by Israel of Palestinians. The people have nothing to lose by resisting Israel and striking back. Israel has made it clear that any non Jewish people in the region will at the very best be despised 2nd class citizens.
So again if we accept Wilfs words as accurate then we have two groups engaged in the same pursuit; the non existence of the other group. If that is the case then neither group is deserving of any international aid. Of course the US will continue to support Israel regardless of what Israel's policies are, or what Israel does.
It is clear that the Palestinians have no future unless they make it clear they wish to live in peace with Israel and Israel makes it clear they wish to live in peace and regard all people as equals.
