They probably buy a pallet of Amazon returns for $50 and resell each item at the $1 to $25 price and overall making large revenues. I've also been to this store few months ago and it wasn't as busy. Similar to a thrift store vibe but less organized lol
Pallets. Plural.
@@Iquey 😂😜
This is exactly wat it is
He's absolutely utilizing the fact of trucker trucking family members n sending them state side to pick up amazon return boxes..
@@hyungkim2337 Why, we have an Amazon warehouse just in New West. I still love the convenience of Amazon Prime and shipping to me. I just realise how high must be the mark ups of a post canada shipping an item
Pallets starts at $900 plus tax.. it’s not $50 for a pallet
Mamas for mamas is a great organization, God bless her❤
0% chance he sold a $3K laptop for $25.. all the good stuff is picked clean and sold elsewhere. How dumb do you think we are??
Just believe what he says
I don’t think so
Really really really dumb!!
it probaly had cracked screen/slight water damage or something like that
@@kevbe144 yeah but a cracked screen is so ez to fix...
And some people will ended up selling it with higher price on Facebook market place for sure.
Ye ye
There is nothing wrong! Good for them to create their own employment or pastime 😊😊😊💰💰💰👍👍👍
This looks awesome! So glad that customers are able to help reduce the huge load of returned things. It reminds me of Nordstrom Last Chance but even more random, with all the rummage-tables.
I'm a bargain hunter myself, so this kinda store helps a lot, especially during recession. Especially right after the Covid pandemic, I needed a lot of things. The inflation rate has sky-rocketed and stores like this are a lifesaver. I saw a pair of underwear for a dollar and it was a blessing already. I went home with a smile on my face. The salesman nodded and shook my hand and said "Good Deal..."
Having your customers dig through your amazon return pallets for free 🤣🤣🤣
Most people have more time than money, so this model is perfect. Plus the added excitement and adventure makes it fun.
Funny how cbc will let you comment here but if you want to comment on Justin treadeau... they block you from commenting
They know where their bread is buttered.
You just did.
Lisa you're a wonderful Human Being!!
This concept isn't new, it's been around forever. I know of two stores in the 90s that did this and dollar tables of Amazon/BestBuy returns were popular years ago in the Flea Market.
There was also a return business that sells stuff from boxes around Marine Drive Skytrain Station.
The future. On one side of town….people going crazy bidding for million dollar homes….on the other side people going crazy buying junk. 😵💫.
Future?
Bless Lisa. I wish she won 1 million $.
Not everything is sold as advertised for the price of the day. Employees hold items behind counters, sold for much higher prices. Some provinces I know don’t do this. Other then this you can find great deals on certain days.
It’s like a theft store.
It's true high end items are locked away
You're so polite.
Just goes to show how much waste is out there.
This is just one last effort before going to the landfil. Once the people used these items they bought it will end up in the landfil.
They talked about some guy who got a "3000" dollar laptop for 25 bux. It was returned item, if the new buyer needs to fix, said laptop, it would cost 3000 bux and a lot of headaches. See where thid is going?
Some people are down to their last dollar and this is just another thing that tries reap hard to take every last dollar, does that seem like a thing or am I??? Tell me.
I would love to browse these places but I am trying to de clutter myself so I avoid bin sales, the dollar store and yard or garage sales. Too much temptation to bring home more stuff, affectionately called dust collectors.
Yeah, me, too. It would be fun to do it for somebody else, though.
Yeah I think it's only good for things like the soap. Atleast this can be used up properly.
Fantastic!
I have mixed feeling about this.
first, $3000 notebook computer for $25? Airpods? I guarantee that never happened.
Amazon has their own return/open box store now, all the high priced electronics go there.
2nd, this isn't a store where you will always find what you are looking for. You never know what you will find, even if you find nothing you really need now, you'll still end up buying stuff you don't need because you don't want to walk out empty hand... at the end regardless of $1 or two, you end up spending money you didn't need spend.
Reporter took off the mask,, shopped, then put the mask back on her face?
Because they like to continue to push this covid BS subliminally
Insanity
I just realise how high must be the mark ups of a post canada shipping an item
Lien Weung 😍😘💕
where is this located?
Can sombody tell me the name of the store? I live in Surrey and never heard of that.
Krazy Bins
Great idea
❤
$26 for soap??....its $1.50 in chicago
Same as crazy bins in Mississauga
This has been on for a long time , i am happy the is now know to everyone in Canada
Great concept and it’s good for state like California that have high average income and able to return more expensive stuff
Lol $26 soap and booshy chips
Boosy lol
I love going to thrift stores! I can find great deals there!
If they had that in Chicagoland, I'd go! But the theft may be high unfortunately!
They can have a model where you check your bags into lockers maybe on a second floor, have the sales merchandise on a third floor, and then you check out and get your stuff back on the second floor and exit the security level on the first floor.
This place is a zoo now
How is this news? It's just an informercial for the store. How low can CBC go?
Reporter is hottt
My dads is the boss there😅
They have these in LA too its just....not for me.
Is this in China?
90% of the stuff is from amazon lol
When the camera guy played devils advocate over and over again... That was annoying because he was a bit of a "Debbie Downer"... but hey, it's CBC... It's supposed to be good wholesome responsible journalism. I used to be a journalism grad so I know why journalists would milk this social responsibility angle. Personally I couldn't go to a crowded place like that but everyone at that place looked happy and that's good. This is, by the way, not a new concept in the United States. They have thrift stores that operate like this
People buying junk they never knew they wanted.
People need food
Consumerism dumpster dumping.
not for me, intentional minimalist over here;.>
Need one In gta
What 3rd world country is this ?
Ask Justin.
Canada
Why is she wearing a mask (sometimes)? Too funny.
Those bins are horribly organized. Looks like a truck just dumped stuff into them.
Do we really need more stuff?
What a joke. She wears a mask then takes it off. 😅
Firas Alhmoud
Mask 😂
It's cbc what can we expect 😂
So woke they can never take it off now.

I can't believe how unprofessional this video is!!! I've tried my best to find out the name of the store by skim watching this video and I still haven't heard or seen the name!!!
Any professional journalist would start with the name and location of the place before launching into her tirade... Expect better from CBC!!!
She does mention it. The problem with skim watching is that you might miss the details.
Krazy binz.. in Surrey.
@@tommymiddlefinger1283 mentioning it somewhere discreetly in the middle is not good enough. It needs to be mentioned in the beginning and at the end. At least that's how professionals do it
You could always check the description. It's Krazybins.
It's "nice" that she's using the $100 that she won to use on others... it would be "generous" if she used money of her own (that she didn't win) to use on others. But this place looks like a good place to buy items for those who are in need. I can see some people buying these items and turning them over for a profit too. If people could learn how to save, live in a minimalist life, and live in places they could afford, there would be less complaining.
Again, for our hospitals, treat those who wear masks first - and for those who get COVID but didn't bother wearing a mask, just ask them to stay home and hope for the best. We all should lie in the bed that we create for ourselves.
She DID use her own money also.😊😊
She won it. It is her money lol…
"there would be less complaining". What a way to minimize the effects of the cost of living crisis that has been going on.
Why Is The Crazy Reporter Still Wearing A Mask 🤣
The greasy people here randomly coughing would make you mask up. That's why

Canada has gone so far downhill it will not recover soon.
Is she wearing a mask 😂😂
Wait what?
Yes people are free to wear masks if they want, I still do. Why does it bother you
Some people don’t want to get sick a-hole
@@allalll1915 The pandemic is over, so it's the wokeism in it I find annoying.
What’s up with the mask ?! With certain people on, others off… sooo rude and the p.l.a.n.d.e.m.i.c is over girl 🙄
