It's funny too when people do get angry in quick play because everybody shits on them for it. I'm too high rank to play comp with most of my friends, who are all new to the game. Been playing quick play for a while and it's way more fun tbh

i dont think they can. Wasn't it just them removing rank restrictions, so a gm could queue with a bronze, but are still limited to 1 person
@@isaacsimpson8098 Anyone can queue with anyone and you can form 5-stack teams, but I'm pretty sure it's a separate mode from regular competitive.

Had that experience twice. My random teammates were plat and silver I was the only masters player and the enemy t500 5 stack werent even off role + played their main heroes as well. Much fun not even walking out of the spawnroom after trying twice we just went afk but didnt leave so basically no gameplay for both sides.

literally just had this happen to me. had jay3 literally in my lobby last night as roadhog and he just spawncamped my team and we could barely leave the spawn doors. i got hooked and practically one shotted as support. i thought it was maybe a fake and was already frustrated that night from 2 comp games where we had a throwing tank who openly admitted to throwing the entire game, so i got into quickplay to relax and just enjoy some gameplay before bed. yeah ….. didn’t work out … so regretfully i told this “fake” jay3 to get a life because i felt like i was being tunneled since i was playing support. i checked the hours and career profile afterwards and it was literally jay3. most embarrassing thing that i have done to myself.
In this state of overwatch to go 10-10 is a blessing honestly

I've been playing QP non-stop and haven't touched comp in a long time. I've been having a blast and also I've learned a couple of characters I never touched before.
Honestly I dropped ranked in this game years ago.
Scrims and more organized play is the only competitive experience worth your time in OW, 'cause Blizzard has never once made good decisions with their own competitive mode.

Ranked is SO BAD. I went 5 - 9 last night and dropped out of diamond--the worst part is that in TWO matches, my co-healers were throwing. Like standing still in front of the enemy repeatedly, throwing.
It’s rough I’m trying to currently get out of diamond into masters and it’s not happening
Sometimes it happens in masters too people trolling and throwing just to make you go insane because you said hello to them
@@feralast7027 Right? The teams I was getting were... wild. I expected that diamond would have people that would know how to play, but I had one tank that kept breaking LoS and dying over and over again. Then, I had another tank that didn't clear off the high ground on the straight shot second point on blizzard world and would instead just walk to point over and over again while the team was stalled/died behind him because they didn't have tank health/armor to get them across a spot with no cover, while a Mercy boosted Ashe/Cassidy shot them from the high ground.
Same tank solo ulted grav'ed the enemy team after everyone died & then blamed the healers for it.
Somehow diamond is like playing with silvers now.
at least you reach 5 wins, i went 3-15, in some matches yeah i could do better but most of em is just my team getting steam rolled
If that's gonna feel you better i quequed 3 ranked games in a row that the game didn't allow me to access but somehow the game was counting me in the match, ending in a 3 free random losses because of inactivity...totally my fault yeah
I got into 3 of the best sweatiest and most fun games of ow quick play yesterday. Went to comp and it just wasn’t the same 💔

Being a quick play warrior is a good feeling to me. I just vibe and play despite most of my games feeling high rank sweatiness.
I'm looking forward to be grinding mh comp as well this season. Even there, the nature of mh just makes it more casual. Rng is a pain but at least we can mostly blame losses on that.

As a gold gamer who gets gm’s in my qp lobbies, can confirm :/
I still play the same when im in QP, idk how to play more "chilled" i only know how to take over the lobby as a ball otp. Stopped playing comp this season because of balance reasons, and burnout from pve being cancelled. GMs in qp are a bit of a problem though, i enjoy the low effort games, but i get bored stomping diamonds after awhile, thankfully i can play some Diabo 4 until the hame is fixed
The play of the game at the end was Flats getting killed twice and the Hanzo died.

as someone who is still very new to ow, qp is like my comp most times. I, sad to say, stick to ai when I want to have fun and get a feel for characters

High level OW is dead. You can queue into the same team 3 times in a row and have diamonds in GM/top500 games, and then wait up to 20 minutes to find another game

Can confirm that rank inflation is too real, I was high plat low diamond on everything then ow2 drops and I ascend to masters 3 on everything. Can't play in my rank cause it doesn't exist anymore lol, all the silver players got boosted into plat so they get shit on

I'm having the worst comp season ever 😭. With tank I'm 1w - 5L
First match we genuinely lost .
Second match we were completely winning and one of my teammates decided to leave the game. Third game we won the first fight and someone rang the door bell and I had to check that cuz it was important . 4th and 5th I got the worst dps ever . 😭😭😭😭
dude i think ranked honestly feels worse this season.I was doing my final placement did really good in my 1-4 matches and for my finale match i did average and i went from diamond 1 to diamond 3 somehow i did worse LOL

I have been a QP warrior for a while, I'd occasionally play ranked with my friends but now that my friends don't play this game anymore I legitimately never play ranked. I don't give a fuck about getting better at this game, I'm just gonna load up some matches, play characters I like, and see if I can do some cool stuff. It's been a much more enjoyable experience than 99% of ranked matches
I'm curious if other people have thought the same but I find it a little odd that Lifeweavers grip doesn't cleanse of anything.

I played a match of ranked today. Got matched against a 5 stack and got flamed by my teammates, so I threw the match and quit playing Overwatch. Games are supposed to be fun, and that was not fun.
I'll never understand the desire of people to actively push their own team to lose.

Imagine your just a gold playing some qp and you see the enemy team with Flats, Emongg, and Jay3. Id be excited to be in a game with them then get immediately depressed that their in my game bc id get rolled😂

I only ever play Overwatch to get on quick play since comp is in purgatory with its' matchmaking and lack of friends to play with. Ranking up in this game doesn't feel rewarding either.
I play exclusively qp. No throwers no leavers it’s great
Overwatch has 2 moods. 50/50 or 25/75
Obviously a top 500 won't have this issue but, as a plat 4, my QP games always have a Diamond or GM on the other team. I play on PC and I queue with 4 Xbox players, their ranks are; Plat, Silver, Bronze, Bronze.
All it takes to lose is one Gm on the other team and it's game over. Something it's more than one though, it can be three Diamonds against us.
Sure, you can say it's Quick Play and it doesn't matter, but my friends are COMPLETELY DEMORALIZED from playing TWO GAMES in a row against Gm's. All QP is, is Unranked, it's the same as Ranked but without a rating system. There is MMR though, (matchmaking rating) but Bronze against Diamonds or higher?
I had the same problem with Competitive Deathmatch where I kept going against a GM 5 DPS Soldier 76 with Match Rank of Plat??? He obviously won those games with barely 3 deaths and I went 4 - 12... yeah one guy.... for 10+ matches.
I'm tired of the MM system, they said they fixed it, but all they did was add the overall match rank for comp.

I sank to Bronze 5 on tank. I find no difference between Bronze play and Quick Play.
