If you didn’t know he is releasing his rock album very soon with Travis Barker and Yungblud. He also plays drums, keyboard, acts (11 movies so far), and he’s edited all 7 videos/songs that he’s put out in this quarantine himself.
@@CaseyFronk but he wears clothes, patches, and more from punk bands, talks about it often, and everything from his Narduar interview to his time spent as a big stage headliner on the warped tour, he's made it abundantly clear. Definitely do some research cuz this isn't obscure and even just watching a live performance from the past 5 years would kinda show it too.
well yes and no... Yungblud is very diverse too, his last single "parents" for example has some rap-ish/pop vibe too I don't even know how to describe it honestly I think it's worth a listen.. or "hope for the underrated youth" that has more pop/rock vibe
He never uses sample drums he has a whole drummer named rook. They also don’t auto tune his voice that much either he likes his music raw. And he sings as much as he raps especially now he sings so much more
Yeah I was referring to his older music where there are sampled beats instead of live drums. He still uses auto tune quite a bit though, everyone does! It's super apparent in his song with Iann Dior.
Actually, on the first verse with Yungblud, the second part of the verse isn't duplicated, you can tell because his first line when he says "roll me up" sounds pretty clean, but the second time he says it, when he says the word "up" he has a bit of a crack in his voice in the beginning of the word, which isn't present in the first time that he says it. I'm overly observative when it comes to telling vocals apart lol
I believe I am of German descent. My ancestors came from Germany over 100 years ago. My last name would have been Vruggink if the US Customs guy would have spelled what they said correctly! Lol
mgk is actually making a pop punk album with travis barker and kevin gruft
That’s awesome, I‘m looking forward to it!
Mgk has his own drummer normally his name is rook, he's pretty damn good at drumming to.
That's sick! I'll have to check him out, I had no idea.
Casey Fronk react to Hollywood whore rook killed it
Hah I'm here for yungblud but I love mgk too
me too hahahha

MGK plays multiple instruments and has a full live band for everything, just so you know. he grew up on punk and whatnot just as much as rap.
I didn't know that! I've listened to him for years but I haven't really done my research on him. Talented guy!

@@ThexInsidexMan He also used to cover songs like what's my age again on stage in his underwear when he did smaller show in smaller venues.
@@ReallyUnexplainable did that on warped too

CaseyF yes because it’s not his actual song. In his own songs he really doesn’t. He sounds the same live
@@merisaschaeffer129 yeah I'm not trashing him for using auto tune :) just a fact that he does. I do. Everyone does.
Actually loving the content you've been putting out lately. Keep doing it 👍
Great to hear, feedback is huge! I don't want to be creating videos that no one likes. Love ya bruh

Should check out his newer song Bloody Valentine!
I thought you was mac lethal lol
Great reaction, if you like when he does singing stuff he just dropped another video with Travis Barker where they cover Misery Business by Paramore.
No offense man, but surely a music producer could eliminate the white noise on his mic with a noise gate?
are you of Irish blood
