- It's been well over 15 years since Sandy has ridden a dirt bike. We could't think of a better way to reunite him than enter him in the toughest moto-x enduro race in Australia... the Hattah Desert Race!
In Part one Toby Price takes Sandy for a lesson in riding at a test track near Hattah.... We quickly work out desert riding is harder than it looks.

The ease with which Toby rides is absolutely astonishing.
guys like Toby are cut from a different cloth.
The speed Toby can carry over that terrain is awesome
Australia has several world class riders.
The fact they have one of the best training grounds, may have some bearing on this.

I realize that was sped up a bit, but my word Tobs', you're one fast bugger! It must be so surreal to be able to comfortably ride that fast. I aspire to flog at half that speed, and I've been riding since I was 12 y/o..(almost 30'ish' now) phwew! Absolutely punishing it big fella!
sand or mud is easier when you carry more speed, sand is harder at slow speeds.

Well.. Now I'm even more mind blown at that sheer speed than!! 😶 Sorry to have ever underestimated the boi. Pricey, keep owning!

Hahahahaha , Toby is a God he doesn't need CGI or other BS to make him look good.
Special effects were developed specifically to emulate how good he is so lesser riders can pretend to be half as good as him.
Don't feel bad about it, most noobs think the same way you do.
