Sterling Frederick I saw that truck once about 10 years ago and asked aCity of Miami FF that I know about it who thought it was in honor of FDNY. Some nice “diversity” in their fleet. I still think the MDFR yellowish/green is iconic to their department and lets you know who is on scene.
There's a bit more history to that Miami-Dade County fire rescue once had a chief that hated the lime green color I wanted to change everything to red and he started with Station 3 then somehow he became not the chief, and everything stayed green with the exception of engine and rescue 3. Now they use those trucks as memoriams for 9/11 and the fact that it's near Homestead which now uses Dale Earnhardt seniors 3 Logo as the station logo
ryan turner good info. Like I said, you always know who is on scene with MDFR lime green. MDC has 3 million people and about 35 municipalities yet only 6 FDs in the county with MDFR green serving the bulk of the population and area.
Sorry to break it, that is sadly not an ms4000 rather a pa4000 like FDNY ambulances have :p
"Make way, here co'm big red"
Love Big Red. Sweet vid!

Very nice
Very, very awesome video!
Is the red engine the engine that is in honor of FDNY firefighters who died 9/11/2001?
Hound Dog yep, it’s Miami-Dade’s only red truck
