Fairly certain, that Die Another Day Aston Martin Vanquish is a brand new casting. It was previewed recently on a Lamley video interview. From that photo, I do feel the tires on wheels look a little too thin though. Definitely looking forward to the Tomorrow Never Dies BMW 750 and Spectre Jaguar CX75 from Mini GT. Both look amazing! 😎
Yeah, The Creations line isn't far off the Collectors line in features, and those are about $4(usd). The Opening Parts line is about $3. Combine them and throw in some fancy paint, and you're at $10.
Get my first G.C.D Model in 1/64 today. A Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter 'Blackbird' (darkgrey/black) Car Hauler Truck with an enclosed box with Sidewindows. Was not cheap, but its a great casting, love it. 😍
That's awesome! Congratulations! I agree, the haulers are pricey. I'm not sure why, but maybe they're difficult to manufacture. Even so, I've been looking at that Fuso, and the car hauler tractor trailers. I just haven't convinced myself to buy.... yet 😉
@norsefalconer i payed 67€, think thats a good price, its very heavy has good Details, even a huge Greenlight Chevrolet Suburban or a Auto World Lincoln Continental MK V fits inside, and its mostly full diecast. At Ali Express you can find it a bit cheaper, i get mine from a german seller at the BAY with an E.
Right. It's decent but for $25, those doors should fit finer and the metal window frame shouldn't be so big and bulky. For $25 Mini GT would do a much nicer casting! Even M2 or Auto World who do a lot of these American trucks would do better. Maybe 8 or 9 or 10 bucks.
I said the same thing. It’s a repeat of the wrangler bronco which was basically a silver series release with a $20 up charge. Enough, Mattel. Do better.
I really want the Kombi and Mystery Machine. The only Mystery Machine I have is one of the 2014 or so ones before they had the front tampos on it, so the newer ones are much nicer, especially with the premium wheels.
I agree with you. Hot Wheels feel a little lack luster with the current releases. It's fine with me. It allows me to save some money. I am looking forward to tye new James Bond Release
The two previous Mini GT Aston DB5s are around $13(usd) where I preorder. So, I'd expect the 7 series to be near that price point. Also, the "regular" Mini GT Jag C-X75 is about $11. So, I'd expect the JB version to be in the $13 range like the others. Being a JB collector, all of those are "must haves" for me, as well as the HWs JB Vanquish. I missed the previous releases that are in the "new" Pop Culture release. Unfortunately, there's a near zero chance I'll find the Mystery Machine retail. The others will likely be warmers, which is good news for me. I like them all, even the Cosmo. At the $25 price point, my $ is better spent on higher value to cost models than the Mattle Creations Blazer. In my opinion, it's at least $10~$15 over what it should be, considering a MB Collectors line model is about $4, and Opening Parts models are about $3.
Cant wait for the MiniGT BMW E32 750i , the normal stock Version should be available in December at the dutch Onlineshop where i by my modelcars (mostly it takes some month more, hoping its not the case). And i hope the MiniGT Aston Martin V8 Vantage is also soon available. Get the Matchbox Collectors Version of the 1977 Aston Martin V8 Vantage some days ago, measure it ant its really 1:64 scale, the Johnny Lighning Version is too long. 😃
I think the jay leno diorama was pretty cool. They were hard to find around me, took me months to find one. Its like alot of sets though, ill buy them just because i really want two of the cars. In that set it was the tank car and Mercedes transport truck. Also im probably getting the matchbox blazer its awesome imo although i do see what people are saying about the door..
I'd hope to see Hot Wheels to show off new castings for 2025, I am waiting for them to do the Lamborghini Revuelto, Koenigsegg CC850, Lucid Gravity, Aston Martin DB12 or DBX, Rivian trucks, and well whatever else is new or aren't casted yet, I'd love if they do a new N95 or New Edge Mustang casting tbh
Daily Dose, I'm a big Matchbox fan from the late Lesney and Tyco days but I feel that they're missing the mark with some of these RLC releases. That Blazer is so lackluster and doesn't even have side mirrors, easy pass at $25. Hot Wheels Pop Culture is just phoning it in - they know their product is the #1 fad item/collectible so they're just rehashing the same models over and over.
The Blazer is just too high a price point for me to justify. It's nice, but for that kind of money, I'd want something of an adult collectible level of detail. To me, this is more a Moving Parts or Collectors model. Haha, "suck" as the kids say, close to it. I don't recall if that Aston has been released before (I don't think related to Bond), but that movie certainly sucked. I think Brosnan sucked as Bond too (there, I said it!!!), but it all depends on who the Bond was when you began watching, I think. The Cosmo is a cool car, and was done in Japan Historics a while back. I think it may be a peg warmer, unfortunately, even if it is a remarkably cool car. Regarding the Mini GT cars, I was shocked to see that they are priced very reasonably! I think less than $20 max, and more like $16 depending on where you buy it. Those definitely don't suck!!!!
4:13 funny, the only one car for me from this collection and the whole video ha ha ha but I hate the fact that it is just another card with the same car. And not even with matching wheels - that is BAU (business as usual) - but still dissapointing. For comparison, real Cosmo owned by Jay: ua-cam.com/video/0bUUzDKnPhc/v-deo.html njoy 🏁
Pretty boring set. I mean they are rehashes. Why not release the Plymouth Fury from Christine or the Grease Lightning fantasy version. Mattel has released these cars before. I would rather have a Kool Kombie in The 2025 Mainline. Thanx for the showcase.

That MBX blazer is pretty nice it looks good, looks like it has a plastic base, not so sure about paying $25 for it, looks equivalent to a $5- $10 car

@@marcbaur677 I appreciate the updated info. It sounds like a great model. I'll give buying it a stronger consideration based on your review. Thanks!
damn! thats nice. How much did it cost? GCD is good but just expensive for my taste
@@DailyDoseDiecast payed at the BAY with an E in Germany 67€, think you get it in a different color at Ali Express a bit cheaper. 🙂
We still have Jay Leno dioramas, warming the shelf at my local Walmart.
Now, the diorama sets are $31.43+tax USD.
peg warmers
The Aston Martin Vanquish is a new casting
There is no way i am going to pay $25 dollars for that Blazer.

🤞 espero encontrar el aston martin vanquish 😊❤❤❤
The Kombi will be the only one I want. Already have a Mystery Machine and the others...meh

If I didn't already have the mystery machine out of that pop culture set i get it, so that set will be a pass for me
I agree about the Kool Kombi. It's in a very dynamic livery. Happy 80th.
Yawn for the rest.

yes, matchbox premium release is disappointing compared to hot wheels
New Pop Culture - 4 peg warmers and everyone will take the VW lol
All pass for me

i Love the car from Christine and its one of my favorite movies when i was a kid. I Love Stephen King Movies
