- Welcome! These clips are from a large video collection that is now being converted from VHS/Beta to digital many from the 70's, 80's and 90's. SADLY, I DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL AIR DATES! There is some viewing quality loss from the original video source due to the age of the tapes, but the performances are preserved and still a joy to view. I'm finding many lost performances from vintage R&B, Soul, Pop, Broadway, Cabaret and other performances. This channel will be the Ed Sullivan channel for the digital generation, something for everyone to enjoy. Many of the performances will be seen for the first time since they were originally televised. I will be adding many musical performances from a variety of sources that I hope you will enjoy. Mary is a Goddess in heaven and on earth. Hip beautiful and nice Miss her and the guys
The best folk singers
I wish that I had been born earlier to see them live. Beautiful music, just beautiful. Music that commands us to ask those important questions to ourselves, and the world in which we live.
I saw them in 1996. My girlfriend at the time (now my wife) bought me tickets and I don't remember the occasion. We just started going out after my birthday and it was in the spring. The concert wasn't until the fall. They were incredible.
@@pcallas66 I was fortunate to have seen them in the early 1960's in Portland, Oregon at the Memorial Coliseum before they got really famous, caged a front row seat as I recall for about 10 bucks. They were 15 feet away and I immediately fell in love with their sound and message, it was a difficult time to be young but a beautiful time to experience Mary Travers, Paul Stookey and Peter Yarrow singing their hearts out.
A blast from the past luv it 🤗
Can I start crying now? 😢
Mary owns it.
I met her often in concerts and on NY
