I remember one year at Fan X in Salt Lake City, I had a really good falafel from one of the food trucks that would line the side of the street next to the Salt Palace where the convention is held.
14:20 - Oh my god, yes. I remember getting addicted to Take 5s when they came out. Not so much the newer Reese's-branded ones, though... I don't know what it is, but they just don't have the same taste as the original ones did. On the note of women having a better sense of smell, I've heard that it's a remnant from the hunter-gatherer era of humanity. Women were most often the ones responsible for gathering plants, and being able to distinguish the subtle difference in scent/color/texture between two similar plants was important.
First game I ever played (this will show my age) was Moon Patrol for the Atari. Also, Cappy, the game you're think of is Road Rash, with the kicking, club wielding biker on motorcycles
First game I remember playing that I remember the name of (and I still play it) was Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga (The best trilogy, the pretty good trilogy, and not the new trilogy) There was one around the same time that was a racing game but I don't remember the name, it was ps3 and kind of dune buggy/desert racing if memory serves
Yall really need to just take the audio from these longer game vids and make a podcast like their talk about halo would be great to listen to while im biking around. Also Halo episode when???
Halo is not quite as in depth with Star Wars, being there are 381 books, not including comics, short stories, and whatever “secret history” is, but still impressive nonetheless haha
when i was young the only game i got stuck on and never finished was star wars republic commando, a few years back i played it again and completed it, and i was like how did i get stuck at that part it was easy, also near the end of the video, jerome talking about the place he went with all the computers and such, so wait there were gaming cafe's in america like they have all over japan, and florida 100% still has alot of places with arcades, a bowling alley i used to go to, but my mom still goes to cause she plays in a league, pretty much half of that building they changed into a arcade, like it used to be this small little area and now it covers half of the middle part of the entire place
The first proper video game I ever played was sonic unleashed on the xbox at a friends house. I had played 2D online flash games before then, but that was the extent of my gaming knowledge, so imagine my surprise when my friend put the disc in and that opening cutscene plays. It was the coolest thing I had ever scene. Those who know, know.
Will monkey be in every vid once he graduates in a few years? And is stead doing that too if yes will he be back or he is just doing something else important like matt?
First game i played was pokemon yellow, but only for a week, got a Gameboy color for Christmas from one of those charity gift places, parents sold it a week later for weed so i don't count it, first game i played and got to beat was Jak and Daxter the precursor legacy. Favorite game of all time
I love watching the chaos please keep up the awesome work guys. And Cappy, the saying is "close only counts in Horseshoes, Hand Grenades and Nuclear Weapons" Halo infinite is a good game in my opinion. They need to do a continuation of the campaign storyline though. My son likes to refer to it as Spider-Man-Halo, as my favorite thing to do in the game is to Grapple shot from tree to tree to whatever surface I can, very rarely ever touching the ground.
I love the Halo tangent, but playing Call of Duty World at War’s co-op campaign straight through the first time with your friend, then after the credits you unlocked Nazi Zombies something that wasn’t advertised or known about until you beat it or a friend of yours did. That was a feeling that will never be replicated.
My first game i played was "world of warcraft 3 reign of chaos" Edit one of the halos has a skull were when you die you restart the entire game its hell when your playing with a freind who is a wild card
I read like all the halo books, including the long and boring (but also interesting) forerunner books. It really explains the politics and stuff behind the rings vs shield worlds to combat the flood
The problem with modern arcades, in my opinion, is that 80-90% of the games are there to give you tickets for the prizes. Some of them have cool mechanics, but at the end of the day they are there to get tickets. My local D&B has a lot of games that are almost gambling machines
ok jerome i agree that lore wisethat halo and star wars have equal if not halo having a bit more lore in its species and weapons while star wars more focus or lore with light saber jedi and sith
Alright so I work at a ball park and I have to say chicken is pretty good but I love getting a good sausage with some veggies on it and for dessert I love to have some dippin dots my fav is birthday cake
First game i played was a mario vs donkey kong game on the og ds but the first console game was i think Mario ksrt 8 on the wii u or skylanders trap team
My first game was either Halo 3 or Kameo. Im not positive which one i actually played first but i do remember that i beat both games at 5 years old before my mom who was like 20 something did
Also, in Washington state, there’s a place called epic gaming as one of those places that has computers PlayStation’s Xbox is an even virtual reality bags that you can just go pay an hour fee or rent out our stuff and play. It’s really fun some of my friends on it so discounts. Not really lol
25:25 I had a neighbor that would want to play versus mode and he is like "you ever play this" and I replied "no I haven't but should get used to it fast". He left me for 1 hour to try controls/play to get use to all of it and big mistake on him me with any game I take like 10-20minutes and get used to it so he came back and reset the map and he kinda lost with a nice score of Him 2 and me 13. I found out a spot he didn't even know about so that was fun hiding there when he was trying to find me.
I love that the first half of the video was centered on the race around them, and then the latter half became The Buddies Podcast.
Doesn't that always end up happening with the long GTA races

I remember one year at Fan X in Salt Lake City, I had a really good falafel from one of the food trucks that would line the side of the street next to the Salt Palace where the convention is held.
