A notorious general and an aristocrat's daughter hold each other's hands to spend a lifetime together whilst protecting what's precious to them.
Shen Jin grew up in luxury as a member of the royal family. After the emperor decrees an arranged marriage, she is married off to a general who defends the borders. Although she falls in love with her husband, general Chu Xiu Ming, at first sight, she finds it difficult to blend in.
Shen Jin gradually sheds her spoiled and entitled attitude and becomes a force to be reckoned with. This was my first c-drama, I rewatched it 4x already. I'm so in love with the General's character, he's the ideal husband we all need 😍

Is so difficult for any man, much more for a man in those times and of his status to cry in front of any woman. The actor that played The General was excellent in this role.💙👏🏾

This was the very first Chinese drama I watched and I still come back for key episodes. Well done , cast was awesome and the costumes made me jealous. So glad I could get it with English subtitles. Thank you General's Lady for introducing me to a whole new world of Asian drama.

My friends always recommend me many drama series for me to watch but I always ignore it but after watched the General'l lady untill finish i never regretted n felt in love with their characters,costumes,and the whole storyline. A pair Caesar Wu and Tan Ming very appropriate and compatible according to the storyline.❤️
U can watch the legend of yunxi and the blooms of the ruyi pavillion and in a class of her own. They are also my fave. Actually there are lot of c dramas that are good. U can have the eternal love known to be the ten miles of peach blossom then eternal love of dreams.
