- Here is a guide video showing you how to upgrade the old Photon to a monochrome printer, it will also need a new main board to support the new 6.08-inch mono LCD.

Quelque chose me choque grave ! 4:10 fixer la nappe dans le coin avec juste le doigt!!! OO Un autre point, c'est sympas de montrer les 2 resultats, qu'y a t'il dans la boite que l'on recoit? Dans le slice, quels sont les parametres qui change? L'imprimante imprime peut importe la carte et lcd que vous mettez. Elle obeit a votre logiciel d'impression. Avec vos ancien paramette cela ne changera rien du tout. Si le slice dit 10h, elle imprimera 10h. Ma re-question, fournissez vous les nouveau parametre dans le slice?
Regarding screen being wrong side up, does it matter? From what I saw on the video i had different board, with screen connector on the other side of the board, and it seemed that there is only one way to insert the screen AND connect it properly (connections were nicely labelled, so no issue here) without thisting the cable into spiral, which would be bad I figured. So the cable is folded, but not twisted, and then the screen can only go inside in one way.
My main issue is that the screen cable is kinda in the way of screwing the board into place, I realized that when i was finishing tightening the one screw what is almost under the cable, so i was scratching the cable with my tool (and probably with screw itself prior to that), but thankfully everything seems to work alright
Has anyone been able to determine how to tell if you are installing the LCD the correct side up? I got everything installed with my upgrade, and the machine seems to respond properly, but the exposure test only shows a dim light, and not the rectangle shape expected. I am wondering if my LCD panel is upside down. So far I cannot find anyone that has specifically answered this question. Any help VERY appreciated!
Never mind... I discovered that while I had installed the screen the correct way, something inside my case (some sharp edge somewhere) had sliced 3/4 of the way through the lcd cable. :(
does the touch screen work properly? many argue that it has vertical lines and that you need to replace it with yours.
Is this photon s kit suitable for the photon S that came in the housing for the original photon? Or do I need the photon (not s) kit

¿En que formato se tiene que grabar el archivo para que funcione? No consigo que imprima ningun archivo por Chitubox.
Como la placa madre fue reemplazada, necesita ser guardada en formato ctb.

anyone had there manual controls for Z axis not working anymore after installing? homeing is working so shouldnt be the cable
Hello. If the motor direction is opposite, it could be a parameter problem. You can refer to the "Photon S Parameters" section on this page. Download and print the motherboard parameter file to fix the problem.

Just upgraded photon 1 and photon S and works fine.... Video ia not perfect, i had to pay a Lot of attention to details specially at the conectors part. Anyway thanks, It wasnt that hard.
