I know this scene is supposed to be sad but I just can’t help but smile through the whole think. Colin’s acting as the dark one is phenomenal. Most of this season to me fell flat because we are supposed to buy that Emma’s all evil now but they never actually let her cross that line. So instead it mostly just came off like she was going through her angsty teen “it’s not a phase mom” phase. I know it was supposed to be because she was only pretending to be dark to protect Killian, but they could of had her have the same intentions and actually let her just be dark like he did. The show let his character actually go there and I find it so satisfying.

Why is it when it comes to Emma, Hook can get so butt hurt....even going back to her leaving him on the beanstalk he told her that he was done with her. Say what he wanted there, we all knew that he didn't really hate Emma, he was just acting like a dark one idiot. I am glad that at the end of the day, he did show that even his revenge wasn't more to him than Emma
I still get mad at Killian for saying all this to Emma! It is kind of true though, he did BEG her not to turn him into a Dark One but the orphan bit was WAY over the line! It was probably the Darkness twisting his emotions and giving him the 'anti-courage' to say those horrible things
Technically it isn't his fault. He warned her what the darkness would do to him. Yes I understand that she didn't want to lose him but he was afraid of what the darkness would do to him. And he didn't want to become that again. And what did he do? He became that again. He only said what he said because the darkness was controlling him yes he said "You're only a pawn if you don't know your being used." But he was being used but because the darkness had a strong grip on him and his true love was also the dark one she couldn't be that light to pull him out of it. I've researched a lot of about it all. And in order for him to not have fallen into that darkness so deep he needed a lightness to his darkness but since his only light was also the dark one he couldn't cling to that so it made him darker than it made her.

Dark Hook could have been so much more fun. Why ? Because he has it within himself - the voice - the mysterious little something that is capouble of catching a normal viewer and turn him into a fan of a show. He has everything an actor needs to have. Dark Hook is actually more fun than Pirate Hook.

One great detail someone else pointed out, when Killian says he still has feelings for her, he's making direct eye contact, indicating he's telling the truth. Then, on listing off the reasons, anger hatred, he looks away...but he does look back at disappointment, also indicating truth. He still has feelings for her, but he his disappointed she did this to him, for him.
I understand hook. It is like belle and rumplestiltskin when belle was dying in season 7 and rumple said i can heal you and belle said no. Instead of listening to her (which he did) he brought her back or healed her even though she said no.
I know Emma did wrong when she Turn Hook into the Dark one and Im sure she felt bad when she had to broke henry's heart But im certain she had a good reason for all of this. And I think what Hook said about her being An orphan was too much even for him

But I think the reason why darkness didn't affect Emma the way it did Hook (and the other Dark Ones) was because she's the savior. So her light magic, being as strong as it was, was able to protect her from the full power of the darkness (so, she still did things she wouldn't do otherwise, like taking Violet's heart and the Zelena thing, but she didn't become as evil as she could have). For the TL kiss, I wish they had put one in the show, but I guess they considered the Underworld plot, when Emma and Killian pass the TL test, was as powerful as a kiss to show that. And I really like how they did the ending of the 6th season, as a callback to the 1st.
