The vague shadows that creep across the screen are deeply unsettling. Im honestly sometimes astonished at what BeamNG is capable of. If only they had one, great big gigantic map, and better performance. Planes, trains, cars (obviously), trucks, boats etc. This game is bordering on being the only true 'vehicle' simulation out there. If they ever create a sequel, or upgrade this thing into the future, this will remain the benchmark for dynamic vehicle simulation for a looong time.
With the latest 0.33 update they basically doubled the performance on vulkan and improved stability. It's actually playable now. I don't think they will release a sequel but I do like the direction the devs have taken with these updates
Id like to see more heavy machinery such as bulldozers and even cranes. The game already has pretty big maps. Imagine a career mode packed with jobs, garages, car cistomozarion and whatnot. Theres a mod called BeamLR out there that already does this. Pretty buggy, but really fun
Hey um Cgoya could you ask Alex if he can do a Stop The Beastcraft Challenge for me, The challenge is to survive not for 10 minutes but maybe a little bit further with 15 minutes and the plane he must use is one of the Airbus Planes. It sounds crazy but I've been a Failrace fan for years and you guys do lots of crazy silly challenges
This makes me think that a survive the hunt on GTA with all hunters limited to using various aircraft would be an interesting thing to experiment with.
My guess re: sound. Positional sound is tied to vehicle model, when vehicle despawns, the audio channel isn't reset, leaving it at the last known location of the vehicle model. A check like "if vehicle exists=0, then ..." would probably take care of it.
If I had a nickel for every time Alex got killed by bombs from an airplane that he didn't think would have much of an affect, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it's happened twice.

The first car's engine was still running and it still had some mobility. If you made it to the time limit, that's a win. Just my thoughts on the matter. 🙃

10:02 Looks like the undercarriage and/or engine mounts got broken from the frame, making the engine drag on the ground. Look at the bottom pulley as you zoom inn, and the metal dragging the ground under the engine. It is to close to the ground.
It definitely looks intimidating when you see them in the distance coming towards you and it’s only made worse when they start circling you like sharks on the hunt😅

I thought I seen a B-29 Superfortress, but wasnt sure till you said a "bomb hit the car" the only aircraft that would be able to that in that rotation of aircraft would be a B-29, all others looks modded or created or were passenger aircraft.
Oh it's more than easy to get into the towns, and Alex himself doesn't stay long, it's just good to have a grace period before it starts otherwise its 30 second rounds.

There are some pretty big mod maps out there. Though yes it would be great if it was better optimised - maybe one day

I would use a rally Picnic. Small, agile, and tricky Front Wheel Drive reverse 180's.
Would also use AWD electric cars for instant acceleration.
When I was younger I couldn't stand the way the fox body mustang looked, but as I got older I do kind of miss it.
This makes me wonder how much chaos a Cat & Mouse race would be where the Cats are planes.
Reminds me of the 'Angry Planes' mod for GTA V, only a lot less destructive.
