    Back again after several rewatches. I have to say what a joy it is to know an articulate bonsai presenter ; there are a few others but musical and good looking too?! Colin you got it all, come back soon 🙏✝️

      Lol yup, not of this world. They’re vicious little shits though. I once left a pruned branch in the ground and then later stepped on it with bare feet. FUN. But hopefully they respond well to pruning…we shall see. Cheers my friend. How’s Spain??

      @@BostonBonsaiIdiot Spain is crazy right now. Politics haywire, weather is weird, somehow not much blue sky this year... hopefully life will be back on track before the end of summer 🤞
      hope you're doing well and becoming accustomed to the burbs & nearby flight path.

    I have always been fond barberry. The yellow wood is cool. Foliage comes in several colors too. It looked like you had some great re-growth after the initial chop, anything special with fertilizer? I am excited to see what you create with this tree.
    Great to see you again!

    • @BostonBonsaiIdiot
      @BostonBonsaiIdiot  3 місяці тому +2

      Yo bro! No nothing really special with fertilizer. I think I was hitting everything with a heavy dose of 20/20/20 early on the spring about once a week, but pretty much neglected everything for most of the summer. I think these things are just so tough that they grow through everything. Cheers man, looking forward to some spring vids from you!
