I just watched ALSB because someone on the internet told me no one could beat Hu Yi Tian's chemistry with Shen Yue. I watched his roles with Hu Bing Qing and Li Yi Tong but his chemistry with Shen Yue is out of this world. I've already seen a lot of his job BTS and it's clear he is very shy but talks. However, when he was with Shen Yue he was playful, indeed. I ship them off and on screen. They nailed their roles because I think they're quite similar to Jiang Chen and Chen Xiao Xi 🥺
Yesssss! I started watching this drama bc the synopsis reminded me of ISWAK and the more I watched the more I couldn’t help but to compare the two dramas and they are both excellent in my eyes. I know ISWAK came out in the 90s and influenced a lot of the teen romance so maybe that’s why. But I still loved this series regardless.
The fact that I ship her more with Hu Yitian than with Dylan Wang or Darren Chen speaks a lot about how much I love this drama will forever be my favorite

Take me back to these simple days when they're close😭😭 Like, I understand that time probably changed them; they both grew up and grew apart (like normal people and some relationships do), and they took their own separate paths without collaborating again in years, but man... what YiShen had back in the day was so special. Shen Yue admitted it herself that in ALSB, it didn't feel like a job then because she was happy with Yi Tian and the others. There's also that sincerity and genuine friendship they had because they were just young, and starting (together). They didn't even expect for ALSB to blow up. It wasn't purely fanservice like most pairings who are full-grown professionals; they didn't promote the show together in a variety show for some reason, yet their tandem still sold and is still one of her top on-screen pairings (rightfully so). Also, just wanted to note that even if I don't have enough exposure with Yi Tian and his other leads, I know someone exactly like him, and he acts and looks at his gf the way Yi Tian did for Yue lol. Like, I just want them both to be happy now with whoever they would eventually end up with, and it's been years (like I said, they probably changed and grew apart), but bruh... I miss them and their closeness😭💙💛
