    I have found that Nemanja teaches differently! He throws in how often he uses them. He offers how to use them and what they are good for. I've learned how blend modes work, but, this goes beyond that!
    Thanks, dude!

    I use Dissolve blending mode for making cool stars effect or particle effect:
    First create two blank layers and then use Cloud filter on the layer above and then change opacity of that layer to something below 10 and set blending mode to Dissolve. then merge two layers together to make an stars or dusty effect. also you can add some Gaussian Blur for anti aliasing.

But, instead, I wager that there's already a downloadable one someplace though I've yet to discover ( I have searched but call "no joy"). Anyone have a link please? Thanks.

    Hi Nemanja! I make Gimp tutorials, and used the dissolve mode in a dramatic black and white image with dragan effect, to make a irregular shaped black vignette, so the transition has a sort of grain effect. Thanks for your wonderfull tutorials. I learn a lot of them! Have a nice day. Jan, GW.

    Hello Nemanja. Maybe the dissolve blending mode can be used to intentionally add noise, like say on B&W photo to simulate grain?

    • @NemanjaSekulic
      @NemanjaSekulic  5 років тому +1

      Yes you could try it. But it is not the best way to do it. There are better ways to add grain. But nice thinking.

    I least used the hard mix and the difference group, but the effects are too wonderful to not make use of it. Especially that of the hard mix. I never knew why it was even there when the mostly used blending modes were from the first, second and last group. Sadly the most crazy ones are really underrated. But now I am gonna make something exclusive out from these modes! Thanks a lot...
