I think Sophia Loren is one of the most beautiful women on the planet!! There is a book by Andre Norton -- The Zero Stone. The story is 2 volumes. It is about a spaceship's cat who eats a furry rock and has a talking or telepathic cat who feet ending in paws like a monkey so he can manipulate tools. He is very bossy with the man he teams up with who chafes at being ordered around and at the end of the second book the cat eats a second furry rock and turns into an incredibly beautiful woman. Now he suddenly doesn't mind being bossed around as he practically drools. I always pictured Sophia Loren in that role (if they ever made it into a movie)!!

It seems like the people who put this list together simply listed the 25 most famous actresses. Then the one legit actress people hated, Jane Fonda, they found "perplexing" that animosity still exists. And she was NOT anti war..she was pro war but just wanted the NVA to win. She was anti US. Yes, its' so perplexing that people are still upset about her actions for which she has NEVER apologized.

Based upon this video, these women seem to be hated because they are or were more popular than their male counterparts. They were strong willed, very outspoken against what they thought was wrong, promoted their own careers and often took unpopular side in controversial causes. Most of these women are/were phenomenal actresses who are/were multi-talented. It's easy to hate someone with whom we are jealous and cannot control. I find it difficult to believe Dame Julie Andrews was hated. If she was that difficult, why did the child actors in The Sound of Music speak so highly of her in interviews? Was this hatred of these actresses based upon a few men or a large section of Hollywood? I've heard positive comments about most of these actresses from people who had worked with them. Based upon what I've read about Hollywood celebrities, there was always some co-star who didn't like them or some rivalry between them.

Diana Rigg was about more than film or television. She was first and foremost a THEATRE actress and a very distinguished one. She started off at the Royal Shakespeare Company but was also a regular at the National, both at the Old Vic, where I saw her in Andromache by Racine directed by Jonathan Miller and later at the South Bank. Of course it was the Avengers and being Mrs Peel that catapulted her to fame and then the movies but even if it had never happened she would still have been a great theatre actor. Incidentally her best Hollywood part was in the brilliant Paddy Chayevsky movie the Hospital with George C Scott. A wonderful satirical masterpiece.

I actually watched this in spite of the title, which in my opinion, reeks of sensationalism. Perhaps 25 most controversial actresses would be more appropriate. Your portrayal of the actresses in this video is actually very good. They were strong willed and assertive.

This is so off-the-mark. Natalie Wood is one if the most beloved actresses and one of whom I’ve never heard a harsh word. Patricia Neal? That described a hatred for George Peppard. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

Confused why these ladies were hated but Honor Blackman is a great star and her comments about Connery are brilliant. He’s a total disgrace to his homeland

You know, if you insist upon forcing commercial advertisements on us, tyhe least you could do is not throw them in during mid-sentence of your actual video. It's rude. and ruins the viewing of the actual video.

Any woman who can stay happily married to Mel Brooks until she died can't be bad. I liked Diana Rigg who had a varied career beyond just good looks.

I should do a video on the most hated women I've ever worked with. It would be longer than this.

Although most of these women were before my time. And didn't even see a lot of there work. I was always intrigued with there beauty and personalities. I never heard anything about anyone who actually hated any of them. Maybe hard to work with. But that's about all.

Henry Ford was Jane Fonda's father??? can't believe anything from that mistake onward!!! Can't believe that about Diana Rigg - she was a peach. Lazenby was a flash-in-the-pan with ONE feature film and he couldn't handle the role handed to him on a silver platter, as he was a professional model only. To get the part he promised producers he'd do the next one after OHMSS, but bailed before that one was even finished. Just remember, with any A List Prima Donna, there's someone out there who won't put up with their $#!+ anymore.
