Thanks for the video! All other videos focused on the light install but the wiring is where the magic happens! The $50 kits online seemed too good to be true but now I see no reason to not give it a whirl!
Thanks for the great video! we also watched the Spanish video and were about the cut the wires till we found this, never would've found the ports with out it
This might be it! I was about to return my fog lights coz i cant figure out where to connect the brown pin. Im excited to go home and check my crv. Thanks man for this great video!
I also saw the Spanish speaking video & I don’t speak Spanish as well, but on top of finding it helpful i did get discouraged with the splicing of the wires and i just don’t like splicing wires under the dash and in fear of some sort of lack of proper amp’s? Anyways after seeing this video it looks doable and I love the plugs and you took away all the headaches and did the necessary research to make it work the way it was intended to work. Thank you, i am a 3rd gen crv owner and I love my car and I must say I definitely have one of the nicest one’s I’ve seen
Good job!👍 I watched these video you mentioned for many times but still confused because I believe they must have original spot for install. All the cutting and replacing seems unnecessary. I feel more confident to install it now 😃
Thanks for showing me the way to install aftermarket fog lights. Here is the question - on the grey connector near the floor, is the wire to the grey connector that is taped to the harness is it blue? For giggles and grins, I took out the sill plate and the panel housing the gas and hood release and looked at the harness. Thanks for answering my question.
@@ColonelMusturd My question is WHERE did You find the wiring harness for UNDER The Dash section that Plugs DIRECTLY Into the FUSE BLOCK??? I've been looking Everywhere but can't seem to find anything on it. PLEASE Share the Link and/or Part # for it. Thank you.
Sir i cant find the brown one pin connector under the fuse box. Mine is a 2007 CRV LX, do you think that only available for higher trim models like ex and ex-l?thank you
I did every connection how you said it but my fog lights they’re not working i change my ground but still not working my switch light up but my fog lights don’t turn on
@@PandaGaming-vb1tx yes I did if you change the lightbulbs please check it that they aren’t upside down because that was my problem exactly how this guy explained it on the video is the right way to do it it’s not a hard to be honest
@@juanromano525 oh alright yeah cause I followed this video everything is connected the switch turns on but my lights won’t turn so you said to change them or to check if there upside down right ?
@@PandaGaming-vb1tx yes or could be fuse for #27 or bad connection I had that problem when I had put all the plastics back under the steering wheel it messed with the wire that had a bad connection
The printed light illustration on the switch is backwards. The grey connector (blue wire) on lighting harness that came with my lights was too short and I had to splice in an extension. All these Chinese lights are junk as far as I'm concerned. The lenses are PVC plastic not glass (one of mine already cracked). Best thing to do is to save up and get genuine Honda parts. Buyer beware of cheap aftermarket stuff from China.
Some possibilities: a bad ground, install a mini fuse into #27, loose connections. You may want to try a different grounding point for your harness. Good luck!
I just bought the same fog light kit from Amazon and they now have instructions. This video was very helpful and made the install a lot faster.

Question: does anyone know what size the bulbs are in the button that turns the lights on & off and if id be able to replace them?
@@maddieturner1524 it can be done but I think its a piece of LED on a little circuit board so will need some soldiering.
Wow that's a lot of work. I think i'll have to settle without the fog lamps for now. Thank you for the video.

Thank you for this. Unfortunately my plug under the dash didn't work so I had to crimp it together but everything else worked perfectly. Thank you!
Do you have to take off the bumper to change a burned out light?

Great video!...just one thing...switch is upside down!...thanks!...this is a Big help!!!
Good to know you can install a switch like that if you have the basic light arm
Is there an oem harness?

Mine was taped with the wiring harness that’s near the fuse box, it’s there just look closer, it isn’t in the most suitable location
thank you so much for the detailed explanation
I wonder if the same plugs are available for the 2nd gens🤔
My exact thoughts

Serial number please fog lamps?
Did you have to put a fuse on place ?
Yes, I put a standard yellow mini fuse in #27 in the interior fusebox

No need for a fuse tapper?
