And with season 4 coming in there's a part where zvia actually looks at gibbs as a father rather than her actual father, Eli.

You have to understand, Gibbs is only surly and strict when on a case or when people talk useless things in front of him or with him. Otherwise, he's very nice, helpful and a good listener, which only the persons who have worked with understand or see.
I love their chemistry. It's been a long time since i've felt this way about fictional tv characters. Like Carter and Benton in ER. Just awesome chemistry.
