Loving your vids. I found with my little 4ft slasher the wire thread through the chains snapped. I replaced it with a piece of re bar drilled a small hole in the rebar at either end & put pin in to stop it sliding. It works a treat. Tractor place in town wanted to charge me $100 it cost me $20 to fix myself. I had to take the wheel off as it totally bent after going through a small dip in the land. lol. With our terrain it works better without the wheel. Great to see backhoe at work. I haven't hooked mine up yet. But putting the larger control handles in if I screw them tight they hit the bar, so they are loose if I have them sitting in the right position. Is it like that with yours.

Looking at this gear exactly, but the A/C cab model. Many thanks for your review.
For the price you pay its bluddy hard to beat for small farms and properties like our selfs.

Be careful. Ours arrived with a missing bucket, a smashed grader, front bucket hydraulics attached backwards, no manual on backhoe hydraulics attachment without internet, as well as totally filthy. You wouldn't have thought it was a $30k brand new machine. Delivered without a forklift. Very unprofessional.

You installed the side rails upside down! The rounded corners go the the ground side so it does not bite into the ground

I thought that too with mine, but the instructional video have it with the flat side down. But makes sense it should be rounded side down

That shows how good the instructions are. There are none! A farmer needs to be a mechanic to put it together...

What is the attachment above the bucket?

@@GoingOffGridAus Thank you for your videos, so very useful for us who know little about tractors and are battling with an enormous old Fordson

Hi Andrew, thank you for your video sharing. According to your review, I bought my UHI 754 earlier this month. Thank you very much! Now can I ask you a stupid question? The rake hook on the back of the grader, why is it face to back but not face to the front? Also, it is pretty loose how can it work? Richard.

I just spin the grader 180 if I want to use the rakes then they tear up the ground pretty good. Normally they are designed to just flip up when you are using it as a grader only

Thank you for your quick reply. I will ask more questions about this machine later if you don't mind. Hopefully, you can record a video about grader use in the future.😉 @@GoingOffGridAus

HI Andrew, you mentioned using your flail mower in the future, have you used it yet? how did it go? I've been thinking of getting one when i get mine delivered but my friends with tractors say its a waste of time with less than 70hp. They operate 35 and 40hp tractors on their properties so I'd like your perspective using the 55hp if you don't mind. cheers mate.

Hi mate, I used the old flail mower a bunch, it was probably designed for a 100+ horsepower tractor but had been modified with some rear trailing wheels welded onto it. But you could drive through a forest with the thing and it wouldnt even notice. But was tricky to use on my block because it is so hilly, constant adjustment to prevent it churning up the ground on dips. I ended up getting a Zero Turn so sold the flail.

It was mounted to a 50 year old 55hp fiat tractor when I bought the property, and both the fiat and the UHI both ran it no problems at all.
