If you want to try the at home keratin treatment I used, make sure you test it on a small piece of hair first: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0183D7LJ8/ref=as_li_qf_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=sierralafaye-20&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B0183D7LJ8&linkId=0118f4ed0d5616ecb6e8946e01bccbb1
Thank you for your honesty. You just attested to my reluctance. No Keratin for this hair coz in the end once hair always ended up with some degree of damage
Hi! I have an upcoming beauty pageant and made an appointment to get a keratin treatment for my hair to make it more manageable. My hair appointment is a week before my pageant to give me time to get used to it before the hair stylist works with it. Generally my hair is a loose wave, thick and long (tail Bone length). I was curious if there is anything I should consider doing before and after to get the best results? I don’t have time to test the product on my hair but am willing to invest in products to help the product last in my hair,….I’m not sure if I’m willing to give up swimming though. My hair also falls out pretty regularly but I have no bald spots. Thoughts?
Your hair seems to be thriving so I don't think there's anything you necessarily need to do before the keratin. And so glad to hear you're going to a stylist! They will be able to tell you EXACTLY what you need to do post keratin and the best products that will help you maintain your results. My only advice would be to listen to them!
I like keratin treatments but the bad smell is now unbearable, I always shampoo twice, use heat protectants and shower myself in dry shampoo and perfume in my comb but it doesn’t work😢😢 i don’t know what else to do… do you have any advice to make the smell disappear?
Oh wow! I haven't heard of someone having that problem before-that actually shouldn't be happening. I would look into the keratin treatment you're using to make sure that it's strictly keratin. I've just learned that what some companies do is market their product as a keratin infused treatment but it's actually mixed with permanent straightening chemicals. Another possibility is that it was applied incorrectly. I would go to a salon to see if they can take a look at your hair because they may be able to help reverse what's going on
