I got you beat. My F150 has 309k miles and my Check engine had never gone out yet. That little light bulb is a real trouper.
My 03 chev 1500HD has had a p0449 longer than I've owned the truck
This little light of mine
I'm gonna let it shine!
We use V10's at our DPW we have replaced a few engines in our older stuff something happens to the top end, one thing though our mechanic only changes the oil at 5K and we work in a 2.2 square mile village we run the trucks all the time huge idle hours, and low mileage, and he still will not service the vehicles sooner. We used to change oil right after plowing season and at the end of the summer.
Good to see you again. You have been through hell and survived.
Those 99% values were for a second sensor on each bank, typically after the CAT-converters.. If your truck doesn't have Four O2 sensors, then that's why it's reading wonky.. They just aren't equipped.
try changing this filter & sensor under a truck from the east coast....huh.....lol
Great video - always enjoy your videos Stephen - excellent repair (pretty confident you solved the issue) - you’re so right about us Canadians being jealous over your rust free truck - dang that thing is clean! Thanks eh, cheers
Get out there and fix it,Stephen Cox

Finally, I confessed all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the LORD.” And You forgave me! All my guilt is gone.

To be honest if the O2 sensor is not operating correctly what your experiencing is due to that. I drive a Ford 02 3.8 mustang and I've had to replace all four O2's and it was real lazy fuel hungry and slow 😅
I see your son has grown so much! I think as my memory is very poor, that you and the ex brought him home as a little guy just born. I do hope your world has improved and things are going smoothly finally. Your a hard working guy with stuff that should of never happened to you. Shop after shop being someone taking it or other as memory serves. Just had me a official heart attack and probably could of used a modus to test that also/LOL. Surprised to see a V10 still making power. My brother finally passed on but he had so many of them and at prices of gas, he and I went the 7.3 IDI diesels. My rig got away from me as I loaned it and it never came home.

Thanks far sharing - I like that verse
I hope you listen when I say, pull your injectors and clean them ASAP before you ruin the motor.
Good to see you posting more. What is your opinion on the V10, I found a 1999 F250 with 92,568 miles.
Buy it
@@StephenCox. Thanks, I trust your opinion as a mechanic. With 390,000 plus miles on yours, it looks like a no brainer.
From what you're describing.. It might just be the transmission starting to fail.. Which wouldn't be a surprise with that many miles.. I wouldn't know, I only drive manuals. Not too familiar with automatics.
Hopefully you got it figured out. Great video. The Yankee mechanic line was pretty funny.
I would've guessed MAF sensor at first, but maybe it's your fuel pressure regulator.
Where was this video last week ?? Oh well you still answer my questions 😂 Thanks again Stephen
I had a 2010 F250 V10 the cats went bad and did that it was under warranty still though which was a good thing
