Imagine the song was number 1 in Germany and MTV had to name it in their ranking shows, but were not allowed to play it. Of course, they tried to talk nicely and tried to change the narrative. Didn't work out. You almost felt sorry for the presenters who had to present the song on MTV, every week. 😂

Best Band in Germany number 1.2004 until 2014 break, then comes the big come back with over 350000 fans in Hockenheimring and the concert really great. What band in the world could show such a fan rush as a concert?
This song was a reaction to a documentary MTV did. around 2000 MTV wanted to make a film about the Onkelz. They agreed, however MTV had a plan... they wnted to show the "real" Onkelz, so MTV sent a female, iranian reporter to show how anti women, far right the Onkelz are. The Onkelz welcomed her and showed everything, the good and the bad that happend. She made a really good film and the Onkelz loved it. However, when she showed it to the MTV CEOs they were like "Thats it? Where is the right wing, anti women, anti refuges stuff?" She said "Thats all i have, even if i wanted, i cant say a bad word abou them"
The bosses looked at her and said "Change it now" but she refused, because "thats not jornalism". She was fired on the spot and her film was reedited, replacing pro Onkelz stuff with na*i images and people who dont like them, talking about them. To make matters worse, when it aired, the presenter introdued the video "Noone has believed that the Onkelz ever left the right-wing. And tbh, i can see why"
When the Onkelz saw it (knowing what kind of film the iranian reporter had done) they went mad, and rightly so. Their first reaction was to dump a truckload of TVs on a marketplace. So they made No Amnesty for MTV. The irony is, when this song became No. one of german charts, MTV was forced to broadcast it.
It wasn't just a marketplace, it was the Marienplatz in Munich, THE tourist center there 😂
Everything right besides of the fact, that the songs best rank in the charts was the second one.

The story behind the song was that MTV had made a report about the Böhsen Onkelz but had not used the material provided to them by the band, and when the editor in charge was told what to do, she distanced herself from the project because she didn't want to see her name under a lie. The song reached a top position in the charts (if I remember correctly at number 1) and so the song had to be mentioned in the chart show, it was even played once but presented with a video that was supposedly leaked to the station, which was totally ridiculous.
