বিস্মৃত দেউলঘাটা | DEULGHATA (Purulia)

Deulghata is a cluster of medieval age brick temples built by the successors of Raja Anantabarman of Odisha. Only two among 15 temples are still remaining here on the bank of a little river named Kansai flowing between the rough terrains of Purulia district in West Bengal, India. It was a lifetime experience for Bhabaghure to see see and feel the hustle bustle of the social life of a time one thousand years back. The location is situated around 300 km from Kolkata and merely a 33 km from Purulia railway station. It is accessible by car either your own or hired. There is no eatery nearby. So carry food along with you or take it at GarJaipur, Purulia or Sirkabad. Other details are given in the video.
