I like your swing. Just sounds like controlled power.

I typically shoot high 80s/low 90s, but my biggest problem is that I have a very steep swing because that's how I know I can get under the ball and get some quality compression. I would not call myself a bad golfer, but just ordered a couple boxes of the Max's to see it goes. Great review!

Thanks for a great review - very informative. As a new golfer I have been trying heaps of different balls and models from all the major brands and so far have found the Callaway Supersoft best suits my slower swing speed and my short game, and as I seem to lose a lot of balls, the price is good compared to a ProV 1 or a TP5. Based on your review I will give the Supersoft Max a go.

All honesty, this was a great review. You seem to be a solid ball striker and golfer. Having said that, most folks are not lol. The max seems like a solid ball imo. Never have played them but I have a dozen someone left in a bag of clubs I bought. I'll have to try them once the snow stops flying in Michigan.
Thank you for an honest review. Compared to a pro-v1, which is the standard all others are compared too this was spot on for a "normal" golfer.

Great review. I got Callaways free from work and found exactly the same thing. Kinda “clunky” putting, etc… But there are a few holes 🕳 I play where I pull them out (OB down one side or other)… Distance standpoint, it was consistently 9 - 12 yards behind off the tee vs. the prob. I think it’s the “roll-out” more than carry distance. Prov’s are a small mortgage 💸 so I pick and choose. I still opt for a low end titleist before the callaway. 👍🏻

The most basic thing for higher handicappers it's psychologically simple...it's bigger so easier to hit

I’m wondering if a slower swinger golfer should review them…if that’s who they’re made for. But I really don’t understand the mechanics of the game. So I don’t know.

I review lots of different products as I come across them. The idea seemed interesting so I tested it

I’d argue the majority of people watching these types of videos are higher handicapped golfers. Beginners and lower skilled players are looking for the most direction

@@bryanbutt5033 I'm 73 and play from the golds now... My game is in the 90's... I can't smash it anymore but I also can find it when I hit it... I just got a dozen of these today and playing tomorrow morning... I'll try to remember to come back and tell folks how it worked out.

OK... I played them today for the first time... I put 2 in my pocket when I started and still had the same 2 when I finished... I shot 95 on a local course that is 5326 yards from the senior tees... The ball went much STRAIGHTER than normal and it did launch higher... It did take some getting used to on the greens but by the back nine, I realized it didn't break as much and allowed for that... I was very pleased with the ball and will continue to use it... I used the yellow one BTW and it was extremely easy to see.

This ball is made for a slower swing speed than this guy has---of course it's going to feel mushy to him---40 compression.
