Rotate the hinge right around the other way. Mine had the same problem, it was just reversed. Rotated around the other way then rotate the upper thigh back to the front.

My right hip ratchet is locked up as well!! Very disapointing!!! Btw, I won mine from Tim like you did lol!! 👍
Mapes T I found it was assembled backwards. I turned it around and works fine now, but it’s extremely tight

Mapes T no unscrewing at all. I just rotated the hip and bent it down. I know that makes no sense shoot me a message on Facebook and I’ll send you a picture.
And yes, Takara’s prices are insane.

Great review. I really enjoyed your enthusiasm for this figure, which I share. I had the same issue with the hip on one side but was able to flip it 180 without taking it apart, and got into the comments to tell you, but I see somebody beat me to it and you have already fixed it.
One QC fail on mine, the ankle tilt on one side of my Menasor has no spring so the ankle flaps like a rag doll. Opened it up yesterday and confirmed. Waiting to see if Toy Dojo can get me a spring before my patience runs out and I just open up the other side and go match the spring somewhere.
Is it just me or is that bug the coolest targetmaster ever?

Its interesting to see! I've got a similar issue with my copy. It does not completely move the leg inwards. After analysing that, i saw that in one of the ratchets are a different number of pins that hold or secure the movment. Maybe that was the reason. I'd loved it before. But after that, am i really disapointed, cause its so important for posing the figure that the ratchets have enough movement... its a shame. But the best sculpt of Menasor i've ever saw to date! Nevertheless a really nice Review. Greetings - Happy new Year, and good luck!
Thank you for the kind words, for the hip ratchet to work, rotate the entire assembly 180 degrees and bend the leg down again. its assembled in reverse for some reason. best of luck

again, great review! i watched a lot of videos and now i think capone is the best motormaster asides ft roadking. i have roadking so i stick with ft, but between dx9 and xtb i would definately get capone.
Thank you!!! I really love this figure, however I want to get my hands on the Fanstoys Roadking simply cause it's an all in one. The engineering truly amazes me. The DX9 version is simply amazing though I still find myself messing with it daily
Is this being sold as all one piece or not? I've seen a few reviews that said that the trailer comes separately from the figure but then I've also seen reviews where it was said to come together.

iandirish the flap doesn’t bother me however the elbows drive me nuts

Quick question, which stunticon includes the legs to the Orion pax build a figure body that came with wildrider?
I know DX9 Henry comes with the upper torso, Capone comes with no BAF parts nor does Montana, so it will either be Guiliano or Kukinski, thanks!
Looks great in robot and semi. So the actual Motormaster isn't used at all in Menasor? Thats ridiculous.
It is used, stuffed in the back of the figure. They give you the choice lol
