This is possibly the best sounding pipe on a ZX10R. I like Brocks on the H2 and ZX14R but not the 10. I have a 2016 ZX10R and I think Austin Racing is the one for me. Thanks for sharing.
Its a cat delete system so I did not need to purchase a separate link pipe so yes it deletes the cat. They also do come in full systems but I figured with titanium stock pipes already on the 2014 ZX10R why waste the extra $1,000.
I did tune it running a Bazazz fuel management system with quick shifter and automatic fuel mapping. I don't recommend the auto fuel mapping feature on the Bazazz it doesn't allow for proper tuning and will create power lag. Once that feature was turned off I was able to get tuned to 174 hp to the ground.
I would not consider this exhaust if you want to have a passenger at all times. If you install the rear peg they do fit. But the right side sits at the exit of the exhaust so it will get very hot on your passengers foot.....trust me my girlfriend did not like to ride as a passenger.
may i know, if you install the passenger foot rest, it's that okay if you ride with pillion using this exhaust..plan to buy this exhaust but need to consider it also.
Guadalupe, did you have to remove any servo cables during the install? If yes, did your initial start-up throw any codes? I know on my ZX6R 636 I had to remove servo cables under the seat. Is it the same for the GP1 exhaust on a ZX10R?
The servo cables were not removed actually until i got my Bazazz system installed and no it did not throw any codes. My tuner flashed my ECU so that may have helped for the codes to not come up.
Guadalupe Moreno When you initally removed the exhaust, were there any codes prior to the Badazz Flash or Tune? Can I install the exhaust without worry? And relooking your exhaust location, does the exhaust location positioned just below the foot peg get your foot hot?
No i did not have any codes before the Bazazz and flash of the ECU. And leaving on the passenger pegs with this exhaust is just not an option. At least not the stock rear pegs. If you find something else that works and will not leave your passengers foot exposed to the heat of the exhaust go for it. i personally do not ride with passengers so I'm ok with it.
+SIG Ninja If i remember correctly it was just over $1,000 like $1099. I only bought what is considered the slip on with cat delete since my bike already has stock titanium headers. This made my exhaust system a full titanium set up.
I think that's my favorite exhaust. Sounds amazing and looks amazing. Getting a 2021 and I need this with header is my first mod.

Did you tune it with a pcv or bazzaz? If not did u experience any problems like rough idle or power losses?
