They should just allow street legal in all states and treat them as motorcycles and scooters even though their 4 wheel cuz there are 4 wheel scooters out there...especially since more and more people are getting into electric vehicles.,..
Thank you. I found 255/60/15 10 inch wide 27 inch tall I am putting them on 10 race line bead locks and 205/75/15 8 inch wide 27 tall on 7 inch bead locks. stock tire height YXZ 2017 is 27. I was just wondering about the street wheels might have had and your combinations . plus checking out your sweet street Ride I put you in my favorites so I can now use you as a source . I run primarily at home on 12 acers on fairly smoot track so I wont need a lot of aggressive. bite plus I am going to groove them . Thanks I am currently running 195/65/14 23 inch tall and 6.8 wide. Looks funny but handles very well . Its is a drift machine I can only run those when it is dry. Thank you Have a Merry Christmas
I own a street legal Rzr in Indiana. Received it first in Illinois where I found an old law on the books for farm implement called an LSV. Low speed vehicle. Couldn’t be on roads faster than like 45 or something but hey, it was a foot in the door. Years later moved to Indiana. I told them I was street legal with street plates in Illinois. They honored that after I spoke about how slingshots are legally on the road, that’s how I should be. They agreed, registered it as a motorcycle and now I’m 100% golden. Of course have blinkers, lights, windshield etc and don’t drive like an ass. Oh and have insurance on you!!! Good luck!!
You have had belt/ drivetrain issues running it on pavement? My local Polaris dealer said don’t do it. All the rzrs they had in for service were for this reason with steet legal machines
FALSE. Do not take your legal advice from idiots on UA-cam because that answer below is drastically wrong. No, registering your altered titles vehicle in Montana will not let you put it on the road in all 50 states. We are dealing with that in Texas right now and we were towing them off the roads in mass numbers. If the riders cause problems then they’re arrested off of them instead of a citation which is usually what ends up happening. I’m a prosecutor in Texas. if you give me your state I will look up your law and tell you if you can do it or not .
@@FunctionPowersports I’m wanting to get a Side by side/rzr but only if i can ride it on the road, i live in kentucky and i can’t really find anything about it (law wise) i was wondering if you would know anything about the state laws here
It looks like some local towns have granted access for their local roads so you'd have to check your are specifically. Apps like Polaris Ride Command can help with that.
@@osielbeltran92 Unfortunately with the parking brakes, right now we don’t. But we are always adding new products and vendors to the site. So it’s definitely possible in the future.

To answer your question about making it legal in California doesn’t allow itself for California fuck California you’re not even able to have a UTVStreet legal in the state of California the good news is there is actually a street legal site that I’ll tell you what states and everything for those I’ll pass that to you right now but if you have a smart phone go to your web browser and type in can I make your street or ATV street legal you might figure out what you need at that point.
Real simple thing is to contact your outdoor sports utility store like classic Honda motorsport something like that they’ll give you a little bit more explanation on that and the lost for California is no fun. We can do that.
If a slingshot is legal, they need to legalize utv’s
Thanks for making my drift canam the icon background lol
It's a badass unit 💪

They would be classified the same as a slingshot. They will never be classified as a motorcycle.
I'm from Wisconsin and I'm not really sure if it's legal or not.
I'll check
Negative. It is not legal here in Wisconsin. Although a ton of towns have opened up road routes in town!
@@FunctionPowersports thank you
Get it registered out of state, them any state will have to abide by the state it's registered in, that's how people work around it.
@Kurrupted Data I hear Utah is the #1 choice for registering UTV's. But how will that working having a different state license?
@@DannyDVeteranO5 you can register a vehicle with a out of state license, Im in Texas and just bought a Jaguar with my IL license with no issues.

How long does the whole process take?

There are some other ways that are sort of legal gray area such as Dirt Legal which claims they can make it fully street legal in almost any state.

I went to your web site to check out street tires and found Nothing???
Nobody sells "street" tires for ATV's and UTV's, what you're looking for is a non aggressive all terrain.
Mackey Thompson Indy Profile, old school 14in tires and wheels from a car. I ran these on a 68 camaro for years, it came w 14's new
No more DOT stamps on UTV tires.
That's correct
Can I make my ATV legal in Wisconsin??
There are ways, but it's not easy.

Just Googled it, yes.
If you can modify a dirt bike to make it a street legal motorcycle, idk why you wouldn't be able to modify an atv to make it street legal too.
