They deserved a higher score from the judges. Their dance was smoother than Drew & Cheryl's especially @ 3:20- 3:28. I loved that part the most along with the kicks they did before she swung her legs around Derek's . So Damn Hot!
@Live2Dance321 I agree, this dance fit the music a lot better than Drew and Cheryl's. And the ending of the dance, that split that Jennifer did (I guess you can call it a split, lol, not sure) was pretty amazing! Love this dance!
I could picture them rehearsing to this song..Jennifer: Shut Up! Just Shut Up! Shut Up ! Derek : Stop the Talkin Baby.. I Start Walkin Baby.. Stop the Talking Baby... hahaha!! They are @wesome!!

@guitarsoloist07 Well he doesn't even get the youngest contestants and he cannot be faulted, he doesn't shoose who he gets. Aha he had a completely different body-type with Lil' kim though. And remember, he can only choreograph routines his partners can do, so obviously it'd get repetitive cuz they're not all crazy pros. If you watch his choreo with pros there's a lot more variety. His dances with nicole had the most variety i felt, since she was arguably his best partner.
There is no such contract. IF that were true he never would have been paired with Brooke Burke she didn't have dance experience, but she still won cause of Derek's talent and choreography
One of the things I can't stand about DWTS - music. While I love this performance, I would love it even more if someone could overlay some great tango music to go with it.
They are trying to make formal dance more accessible to common people and show that you can dance to whatever music is being played wherever you are. I get it. Sometimes though it turns into art for arts sake. I get this one though. The words seems to fit into tango
@izzyjane1218 Well to be fair, Len did explain what he looks for in each score during a special segment a few weeks ago this season. And he said that a 9 from him is equal to a 10 from Bruno and Carrie-anne
This dance is sick, i watch a lot! the first version of this dance is one of my faves in dwts history and this dance definitely does it justice :) so happy for jennifer :) I felt that jennifer was a bit distant during it but that's probably because she was praying "don't mess this up!" she's a fabulous dancer with an amazing pro :)
@izzyjane1218 Well you can only have one ringer, Nicole was named the ringer because she was a pop star too, and she proved them right. Labels suck but they're living up to them aren't they? Jen works hard to earn the title of "awesome dancer" we all see that. Anyone who thinks she doesn't work hard is very blind. People aren't surprised Brandy can dance I don't think... I agree she deserved perfect 10s for the argentine tango definitely!
@guitarsoloist07 when did Nicole ever do a sub-par dance? even when she messed up a bit on her first rumba it was lightyears ahead of a lot of the celebs.
@izzyjane1218 I agree. Brandy made one mistake in their routine and got a 10 fom Len? Don't get it! Jen's routine was perfect and recieved all 9 from the judges! I get so pissed when the judges are unfair...
@guitarsoloist07 Fair enough but Len is more times than not, a lot easier on them when it's their final dance, as long as it's a great performance overall. she did more than enough all season to deserve her win that cannot be denied.
@harro215 That's because Brandy has already been picked as the winner in the producers' minds... they are voting to suit that. Right now it's being hidden, so they're doing lower scores, but wait until the final two weeks, she will be getting all 10s for sub par dances... just like Nicole last season.
@izzyjane1218 I agree that some of their scores were really stupid and made very little sense. but Jen was on the top of the leader board more often than not and was only knocked off the top because each week for those 3 weeks she made a mistake in the dance. i'm just glad she's back and better than ever!!! she deserves those 10s for sure. brandy just happens to have peaked the same time jen was starting to fall :( but i'm happy for brandy, she needs positive things in her life right now :)
When are they going to recieve a perfect score!!!?? It's week 7 and no couple has yet recieved a perfect score and I really think they should be the first ones! every week they get robbed with the scores. Sometimes I agree w/ the judges and sometimes I really don't understand them!
@moddyjay Imma let you in on a little secret, Derek is under contract to be paired with the most experienced dancer. Some people consider this cheating. But Jennifer was awesome.
@John Rivera Sure, a 50yr old woman who hadn't danced in over 20 years, who had chronic neck pain for over 20yrs and in fact, during a check up prior to dwts was found to have a spinal cord compression and got a titanium plate in her neck to stabilize her neck so she could join dwts... this woman was the best, most experienced dancer... oooookay.... I'd love to have some of what you're smoking 🤣👍🏼🙄
@nickluva28 Her final jive was not a jive. Len ALWAYS gigs people for lack of flicks and proper jive moves... yet Nicole came out there and shimmied her hips for a couple of mins, and they are all raving. It wasn't anything resembling a jive.
@nickluva28 You're totally right there... I don't particularly like his choreography. I can pick out where he's repeating almost entire dances. He also dances with the same stereotype over and over (young and pretty) until Jennifer (older and still pretty).

Don't get me wrong, had Evan been on a different season, he would've totally won. just bad timing i guess. Plus people, namely women, like derek so they want him to win ha.

You can’t deny at 1:10-1:35 the dance moves and music blended perfect. It was powerful.
