2023 TF - CIF Prelims (D4) - 4x100 (Boys, 5 Heats)

The fast heat is #4. Of the 4 available at-large slots available for Finals, that heat was responsible for 3. None of the heats are tight for the win but a couple are competitive for second place. The day's fastest team, Oaks Christian, shows great discipline in their handoffs. Their 41.76 performance would have put them in 5th place at last year's State Final. Not a bad Prelims showing. Perhaps the most noteworthy event was Serra's failure to advance in Heat 2. A pulled hamstring on the backstretch doomed that effort.
