Man I'm about starved for doubles content so I just watched this guide for entertainment tonight. Some nice tips here I should have learned during the Smash 4 days. Loved playing doubles in that game even when Cloud dominated that teams format. Hope to apply those tips in Smash 6, whenever that releases. Good stuff all around :)

Slippi does have that homie! If you just put your region in the search for doubles it’ll queue with players that gave done the same! For example i live on the West Coast so the code i use is WC. Its not ideal but its still fun :)
Yeah, what Sterling said, lets say youre east coast, just put EC as the code and stay on RED team, since everyone on East Coast is using code EC and on RED team, the teams will get randomized and players will be put on 2 RED and 2 other color. If youre west coast use WC, these are not "oficial" codes per se, but it is a work around "glitch" that Fizzi told the community about
You can play with random people by just queuing up on your own and selecting “WC” or “EC” as your tag (for West Coast and East Coast). I’m sure there are other regional tags like EU but I don’t know all of them
Yeah right now it’s a little tricky, you should both queue up at the same time and both pick GREEN. Since everyone else is choosing red you’ll be on the same team unless another coordinated team is doing the same thing you are and queues up at the same time
bruh I can't even comprehend melee singles, yet alone doubles. I'd probably just fuck my teammate up by spiking him with up b, by tech chasing him with downsmash or just by spamming boomerangs lmao
I’m hella far from a pro, but I disagree with a lot of this. I think the ideas support the “proper” way to play doubles , but I don’t think the suggestions here apply to the title either. The concepts expressed here sound more like how to be a good team, not how to carry it. That being said, love ur vids Kira, but u sound like L rn
It is only like this because people are generally bad at teams/we are playing with randoms on slippi. Pro teams in melee is pretty beautiful and both teammates should be able to take up either role
