These are underrated by the mainstream reviewers. Traverse is the roomiest, most comfortable, and nicest driving midsize SUV on the market. I personally think it looks great too, better than the cartoonish Telluride. My complaint is that GM doesn't give passengers in the 2nd and 3rd row center seats head restraints. That is inexcusable in a family car.
Nice thorough review 👍🏼 A couple of Q’s. 1. Is that an SD card slot near the usb/aux in above the wireless charger? 2. I’m looking to purchase either a Traverse RS or a Acadia AT4. I’ve also looked at Traverse True North. TN and RS differences seem to be mostly interior and exterior cosmetics. But in this review this RS had no tow/haul mode on the selector. Is that a TN/RS difference or is it just this specific RS. Thx.
coincidentally, I, too, was deciding between the acadia at4 and traverse rs...until i drove them...the traverse SMOKES the acadia in every category including price 🥳
Thank you! Yes that is an SD card slot As for the tow/haul mode I’m not sure. I did some looking around and couldn’t find an answer. I will look at one next time I’m at the dealership.. and I’d say the Traverse is nicer looking imo. The Acadia interior isn’t that much nicer than the traverse either
That is nice I know would definitely love the premier more but definitely nice and having GM is a lot better then other car brands GM has amazing vehicles and came along ways that is awesome
@@703Speed Yes it would have been nice if the RS Traverse had at least a couple of sportier RS performance things going for it, not just the appearance package. Opportunity missed GM.
@@dbird1356 GM also missed an opportunity to make a Ram TRX and Ford Raptor competitor.. It's a shame bc if they made something it would probably be better than both of those too
@@dbird1356 RS has almost always been an appearance package, dating back to the '60s. I agree though that there would be a market for a true performance version.

I agree
This is exactly what I’m trading in for
I wish they had an EV version in the near future.
They probably will
Great review!
Thank you!

I'm thinking of buying one of those vehicles.

This will be the right vehicle to afford bro.
Koons license plate on a black car👀
Any idea if the heated seats worked. Trying to order an RS and I know because of the chip shortage some are coming without heated seats
I believe they did.. I have been in a GM vehicle where the park assist didn't work due to the chip shortage tho..
I understand thou that any missing chips will be added at no cost by your dealer when they are available.
@@dbird1356 That is correct
Does mosaic look as good as the old Carbon black metallic GM used on the older gen Gmc Terrains?
I don't remember what the Carbon Black looks like, but I can tell you Mosaic looks sweet in person
Perfect
Ehh...it just look funky overall. I like my 2018 traverse way better. The bodystyle just look gorgeous on the 2018 model.
All the owners of these vehicles I know dumped them by 50,000 miles, too many problems, electrical, starter, transmission, etc…
these travese needs a sports one like the acura type common chevy,
I agree

Baker Mayfield you’re not slick in this video lol!!! Jk but good video man
Lol thanks man
Be nice to this vs the Grand Cherokee L
Let me see what I can put together
The third row is definitely cramped in the Traverse which is why am glad I got the Explorer.
