I loaded Fusion 360 and set off with great dreams. Only to be discouraged with the complexity and nuances and crashes. Save your work! Just want to say your parameter settings helped me tons and how to construct. Thank you so much.
It is a big hairy complicated beast but don't get discouraged! You will get it, it just takes time, I spent an hour a day at least for many months and made some absolute garbage before I got to the point where I was even capable of producing anything.
WOW, amazing video dude. Honestly a great job, simple and precise you get the point without waste time. Now we are waiting the third part, internal shape and weight. Thanks to share your knowledge
Totally man, The hardest part for me is just understanding what things are called and what they do. Once you learn the "vocabulary" it gets a ton easier!
Awesome can't wait to follow this series to see the end result. How have you found the resin prints to withstand abuse from fish? Do you think a well built resin printed lure would withstand a big mackeral or a big 40lb trevally? Or are they best for smaller fish like bass
So far the wake bait I have made has held up really well, several fish and some large powerful inshore fish (redfish) I hope to catch a Jack Creval (cousin of the GT) on one this spring. I am gathering the gear to do some actual test soon as well.
At 13:52 when you grab the handle its not letting me grab the handle and adjust it? I feel like its something simple im doing wrong but I cant figure out why its not letting me grab and move the handle? any thoughts?
Hmm a few ideas 1. Make sure you are in edit sketch mode aka you have the sketch open for editing. 2. Make sure you don't have any constraints applied to the sketch. 3. Make sure you are clicking the actual spline point. At intersections Fusion 360 can pick the point you are not expecting. Click the left mouse button over the point and hold it and see if you have options and select the 2nd point option. Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head
love how you show the voice parametric modeling changes never picked it up before, but always hear the term now i know the term after i looked it up
Dude this so awesome. You do a great job of explaining it to make it seem simple. Thanks
The planning ahead works wonders who knew??? 😆😆😆👊🏻🙏
This is a good tutorial, thank you.

Excellent video... I use a different method, but I really like your clean technical method. I definitely have to try this method.
fusion is a mind bender for a new user hahaha, but slowly learning

When I’m doing the nose I get blue line instead of black idk what I’m doing wrong
Blue means it’s not constrained. It’s best practice to get it constrained but it’s not the end of the world if it is not.
Like your work, but it is "height" not "heigth"
