Nah, Xiong had her moments but Angela was the aggressor and her game is more complete. Judges got bought off.

The “punching panda” has the edge in arm’s length combat. Angela has to increase the grapples to really get on top. Truth be known , they are equal.

XJN won that fight by quite a clear margin. She staggered Lee more often and knocked her down more often, and XJN had far cleaner strikes.
As much as I like Lee, she did not win this. She got hit, staggered, and dropped a lot.

@@henryian According to the judges. There was no KO or submission, I say it was a draw. Xiong was running out of steam and backing away from the advancing Angela when she was saved by the bell. It was a great fight regardless.
Would be interesting to see another match-up between these two great fighters in the future.

Nah, Xiong was not the aggressor and kept running away even when Angela was willing to trade blows with her. Xiong would have been submitted numerous times if it was for the cage 😂

ONEs scoring makes no sense in fights like this. You can win 4 of the rounds and still lose the fight. Incredibly frustrating to watch.
