Interpretation services in parliament are there for a reason and if they aren't working properly, members of Parliament have got the right to object, or raise it as a point of order. All languages in the country deserve equal status, particularly in parliament, as a custodian of our laws. Private companies' language polocies must not be confused with national parliament.

This country is in trouble. We have so many things that need to be fixed and our elected leaders are busy wasting valuable time arguing about languages in such a time as this. They are okay with using English in the bank or hotels but when they need to argue izinto ezibalulekileyo for thina bantu boMzantsi Afrika who are not in those positions in parliament, they are busy playing cat and mouse games.
Because as much as their point is valid it didn't need to be more important than OUR real life problems as a nation. EFF needs to learn how to prioritise, KEEP THE MAIN THING THE MAIN THING. Because otherwise you come across as a disruptor and an uncivilised person. You come across as someone who didn't have anything important to raise in the first place because if you had something to the benefit of the nation not just yourself and friends, you would table the matter and would raise it with the madam speaker and whoever else to fix it for next time.
There is absolutely no need to waste tax payers money by having such meetings disrupted because of one simple matter that could be fixed later.
This is not an SRC meeting in high school, this is parliament and there should be some level of maturity and decency even in the way you argue. Give us something to look up to, give us something to respect please. Model for us a better way of fighting and winning both battles and wars. This language thing is just a battle, but you manage to make it into a war level fight unnecessarily so. Where is there wisdom to know that just because you have bullets in your chambers, that doesn't mean you need to shoot every moving thing.
Some kills need to be silent, know when to use the gun and when to use a knife. EFF is forever using machine guns for everything, even when there are potential casualties around they don't care they just know how to shoot everything at all times. It is unbecoming and you make the white people think to themselves "We were right, they really are fools and incapable of leadership."
Learn from the great leaders how to play the game, don't be rascals not even in your appearance unless that is a strategy. It is sad that we graduate as Language Practitioners ( interpreters and translators) and yet we are not given the chance to practice. Free Volunteering is not a welcomed concept in our courts due to various reasons but here we are our very same courts are the ones that are in short of translators. I'm not throwing shame and blame rather request such to be corrected and I and many of my brothers and sisters get employed cus we did actually studied for it

Just go on like its another normal day? At times we need to leave these disruptive agendas outside and just understand the facts. The speaker was not against vernacular languages being spoken, we all know that...but EFF has to find another way to promote racism.
