If you're at carbon parts or you have prestige you can have double rocket, which will shoot enemies even after landing

The reason the laser misses the enemy sometimes is because they have boosters but as for why, it's probably a glitch.
Good to know! Now that I think about it, the builds I can recall it not hitting haven't had boosters.

This build is amazing! Never thought of this combo till I watched this.

Got a legendary backpedal with 100% to laser!
This was probably made before grapple hooks and mini guns came out but I feel like explaining a couple things that apply to the current version of the game.
Mini guns and grapple hooks can both hit you before you take off, mini guns are only an issue to the build if it can one-shot you; damage per shot for miniguns is calculated by multiplying the damage per second by 0.2. Just be sure to level up your chassis and/or boosters and you should be fine.
Grapple hooks however are kind of a 50/50 whether you'll still win or not, depends on whether land facing the enemy or not.
One thing I did stumble upon though, if you have the powerful boosters skill invested to level 3 (it affects backpedals as I found the hard way), you won't be able to do the 720 no scope laser sneaky anymore as it will kill itself flying outside the arena and spin way too fast to ever register a hit.
Instead you can do the same build with a pyramid, it's much more consistent than the sneaky version as it has full coverage of the arena (therefore able to hit nonmoving builds). It also appears to have a second chance to hit should the first pass miss, since it spins more quickly.

Since there's more possible layouts with pyramids than there are with sneakies, I felt like noting down which layouts work and which don't, I have a partial list here.

Also before you ask, here's a 720 no scope pyramid vs a 720 no scope sneaky. They hit one another at the same time.

Okay so I've since learned that the no scope pyramid actually loses to the no scope sneaky if the sneaky can one-shot the pyramid (unlike the one in the previous gif).
It's mostly because the pyramid is larger so it takes the hit first, so keep that in mind when you run into a 720 no scope sneaky in a gang battle or something.

I have a titan build that’s so bad because it always falls when it reaches the middle, but it just so happens to always hit the flying sneakies, and the laser does just enough damage to one shot them all the time

Fantastic breakdown! I have never actually done this build before, in fact, I enjoy tearing these guys to pieces, they're easy prey. My current favorite build is a surfer body, 3 wheels (tire ... tire. The middle wheel is a small wheel - roller/knob) A shotgun on the front, machine gun on the back, and a lifter. The lifter + machine gun help to keep the opponent at bay, sometimes flipping them onto their back, while the machine gun spins up and deals about 60% of the overall damage.
Anyway, usually when facing 720 no-scope builds, my shotgun will hit them and completely ruin their jump!

LASER DAMAGE x2.5 ISNT ALWAYS RIGHT
If you havent used a damage toolbox, u can just do x2.5
If you have used a toolbox, heres how u calculate
Lasers damage-toolbox x2.5 +toolbox
So if laser damage is 1250
And u used a 250 toolbox on it
1250-250=
1000
1000x2.5=
2500
2500 + 250 (toolbox) = damage
From what I remember seeing on Reddit I believe this is accurate.
The reason you subtract toolbox damage is only because the game factors it into the laser's damage number. Toolboxes don't get the multiplier and only apply on hit damage for lasers.
Also, if you upgrade the powerfull boosters skill (which also affects backpedals, i think), wouldn't you get a different outcome? Cuz when I do this, I fly much further and almost hit the other wall, letting me beat stationary machines...

you can change the laser for a double rocket and add a knob to the back
If you put on a double rocket, you'll beat (almost) every machine that doesn't have backwards attacks (double rockets or blades)
One thing... The Actual damage of the laser is not just 2.5 times DPS... It's ((Shown DPS [- DPS of other parts] [/ (1 + Attack bonus from other parts)] - Supply box bonus) times 2.5 + Supply box bonus) [times (1 + Attack bonus from other parts)] [+ DPS from other parts]
At least if you have Supply boxes on the laser [as well as a laserattackbonus on one or more of the other parts and/or other weapons)
So, if you, in this example, would put an Supply box on the laser giving 1000 extra Damage to the laser the DPS would says 8738 but the actual damage would be 7738 times 2.5 + 1000 instead of 8738 times 2.5. At least if the FAQ is right.

Yo this is actually a good build
In the most recent update if you have all optimal buffs (100% damage for sneaky and laser on everything) you one shot everything except for some combos that have 100% hp on everything.

if your lucky with the wheel placement you can put a roller in the back slot and switch out the laser for a double rocket and you'll land right behind them and your machine will correct itself

[100% on backpedal] Sneaky Chassis
2x [100% DMG on laser] Backpedals
[100% DMG On Sneaky] Laser
U can hit the whole screen with upgraded backpedal, though there is two places on the screen that the shot will do no damage

Another weakness is that if someone has a harpoon and it's low enough to hit the chasis and they have enough damage, there's a good chance you're dead before the laser fires.
The bouncy bolder is cool you nid a booster to miss the laser and a sticky roller

I just battle a 360 no scope laser with a roller one roller at the back it hit me but when I try to do the same build it won't lunch in the air he got a good laser its one hit me n he almost got fly to the blade's crusher I really try hard copying my oppent n I still remember the build but it won't work for me

Btw, for those who havent manage to get the Sneaky that has the specs, or you have maxed out your boosters using paws, you can use pyramid, no wheel, a laser, and 2 back boosters.
Works like a charm to me ^_^
Also, you need just a little HP cause minigun fire first before boosters go off.
well you could do something with the spinning sawblades but i don't think it includes any of this it would be the bouncy boulder
The reason it doesn't sometimes hit is because the car is flipping so fast that in one frame the laser is at the top while in the other frame it's below the opponent's car.

There is a glitch with this one: I remember playing against this once and it did the three flips, but apparently it was rotating too fast and the laser didn't register, and the laser beam went right through my build without damaging it.
After you prestige once, you can make a better version of this build. It focuses on the double rocket which is unlocked on prestige 1. You can use double rocket instead of laser and level two booster so that it will ensure you will land upright and keep hit your opponent with your double rocket. With level two booster, you will be able to flip over the opponent all the time. So yeah after you get to prestige 1, change out laser for double rocket for better win rate.

You can also do this in the Ultimate League. Use a Cutter, a cannon, a backpedal, a knob in front. Good! Now find someone with a horseshoe and TNT(fireworks).💥

I don't think the backpedals are affected by the booster power upgrade. I have already put a skill point into booster power, and when I get the parts to test this build, I will. Just to make sure :). If it does effect the build, I will put out a video showing the difference.
This build is not affected by the booster power upgrade. Tested and confirmed.

I prestiged using this build
My ultimate machine is similar it has two anti gravity wheels and when it flies up with the blasty nudge the electric lasso latches on then my golden carp and ice cream mace finish it off

The laser misses sometimes because, the opponent is too small, and is too far. The laser skips some frames in the air
If you upgrade your Better Booster to 3 bars(30%) double back peddla sucks its flys u to the blade so just keep it at 2 bars(20%)
