Mike Glover makes an incredible point at 11:25 Resiliency is a mindset. Do yourself a favor and at least listen to this part. Edit: 18:00 is another great piece of advice.
Cam - you are an excellent podcast host! Ask great, thoughtful questions and give the guest time to answer without talking over or interrupting! Thank You!
I don't know Mike in person ,but I admire him because of all his achievements and most of it he is a great a highly professional retired soldier and a leader.
I'm the VP for The Guardians of The Purple Heart and host of their podcast Cover Down. We saw the same thing here in CT, so we started making a change for Vets ourselves. Most of us are vets. We are 7 years strong and scrapping tooth and nail to grow and take care of our combat wounded vets. Would love to hear a few pointers from guys like you!
So much knowledge and wisdom shared from two real dudes. I recently moved to Arizona from Oregon and miss seeing Cam and his crew running at Mt. Pisgah. Would have had to stop and say hi, and thank you for this guest. I’ve been following Mike and Fieldcraft Survival since the beginning. I’ll keep hitting the trails here in AZ partly because of you Cam! I look forward to every episode you put out, Keep Hammering baby!
Wow another great podcast. I had a hard time getting into mike and his channel, Never feeling good enough as most service men and women are way out of my league. But after hearing this discussion and all the upbringing hardships, Suicidal Thoughts coming from ex serviceman..... We all struggle and share a common bond. Good job setting the record at the archery balloon pop mike. Keep hammering!!!
This is a fantastic podcast, guys, thank you both for doing what you do! Your books, Endure and Prepared, both make an impact. Lead the way, have the tough conversations, set the example. Thanks again.
I put this podcast on for 2.5 hour work session but dissappointed that it's only 1.5 long 😂. Thank you for having Mike on Cam this was an awesome conversation especially on the serious topic of suicides, looking forward to more episodes and special guest.
Mike seems like the real deal. Supporting you both with book purchase and hopefully attend a weekend with him. Cam, podcast is doing well, great guests and solid conversations…and of course a Hoyt Bow giveaway ain’t to. Shabby either 😉
I got into running at 45 being inspired by Cam. I almost love win I lose a race or don't win the masters or age group and an older guy kicks my ass because it means I still have room to get better instead of sucking.
It would have happened already. Andy stumph said it publicly, I respect Goggins but I won't have him on my podcast because the way he worded some things when he spoke about the Seal Teams. It would be an awesome podcast, but I don't think it will ever happen.
A well done podcast. With all Mike’s success he is such a great guy. Cool, calm, collected, and methodical on how he interprets and delivers ideas. He still have time to answer questions from mp5s and talk chainsaw husqvarna trash😂
Awe.... Ian Hall... RIP... He was such a great guy and his passing was so unexpected. It infuriates me how our own government sends our people to war and yet treat them so terribly when they come home. They need to be treated like royalty, not thrown away with the garbage.
My best friend took his life when I was going to go on a trip deer hunting in Arizona. Drove 12hours to get to my dads house he called at like 4 in the morning I had just laid down to sleep when he called and I was like I bet he just got home from the bar I’ll call him in the morning. Feel bad every day for not picking up the phone when he called he might have been reaching out for help.
We still have neighborhood watch here in Chicago. My neighborhood is one of the last middle class, blue collar, union worker area. It’s rare to see though.
Very informative as always. Great points on a lot of topics! My best time of the year is when I go elk hunting because my phone has no service. Regular life is so noisy and gets noisier every year.

Kensington pa is the same story. Millions of dollars were given to work on the homeless, drug addicted folks. It's the worst place I've seen in this country. Nothing changed. You can't fix it from the inside out. You have to limit the supply first. It's not complicated. Politicians must know this , they obviously just don't want to address it. Cities take that money and squander it. Until you limit the supply , nothing changes.
Mikes talking about combat.. people break down.. it's a conscience, some can't perform under stress..the largest most muscular guys can just wilt.; you never know ..HOLD on who's a VEGAN??
Mike, if you’re such a great communicator why are you divorced? Isn’t it difficult to talk about how awesome of the communicator you are when you’re just like me and hundreds of thousands of other guys divorced
Sometimes communication with the wife is much harder than communicating with a man…….. women need a certain level of respect and thoughtful language…. I myself am failing at that but trying to get better… also…. The only 2 people who know why they split, is them.
MINUTE 5.27 of this VIDEO. A simple MAN that in his CORE has LEGITIMATE CONVICTIONS and CAUSES for FREEDOM and JUSTICE does not get MILITARY equipment JUST for to look like an OPERATOR.

We need a Goggins episode and a Jocko episode.
Yes, we do!!
Tim Kennedy also
It would have happened already. Andy stumph said it publicly, I respect Goggins but I won't have him on my podcast because the way he worded some things when he spoke about the Seal Teams. It would be an awesome podcast, but I don't think it will ever happen.
Inevitable.

Has Mike ever made it through cag selection and otc? He seems pretty static about it, as if hes trying to hide something.

Mike Grifter is the most disliked man in the Army SOF community next to Kennedy
Was really interested in listening but, commercials every 2 min, ain't gonna fly. Had to shut it down.

Mike did the running? Oh my, he definitely ran in some Ranger Panties!
05:00:00, he must have saw Dakota Meyer getting drug through dirty on UA-cam lol
