Hey Fern, thanks for the comment! The Niagara whirlpool is on the Canadian side. there are a couple of options for parking. First option would be a parking area called Niagara parks,Fisherman's parking lot, you can view it here on google maps:www.google.com/maps/place/Niagara+Whirlpool/@43.1240101,-79.0757419,17z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x89d35cd6d6a71135:0xbb04d904dda2fb43!8m2!3d43.1207962!4d-79.0698018!16s%2Fm%2F0h3pxmt. unfortunately, it's paid parking now 😒 second option would be called the Niagara glen, it's down river so to hike to the whirlpool from there is a good distance. There's a parking area there too( not sure if they turned it into paid parking too or not). it's down near the butterfly conservatory, opposite side of the road. There's a set of metal stairs to go down and then a trail system, with markings to follow. as far as lures go, I'd bring some spinners, some minnow/bait fish style lures, some jig heads, teamed up with minnow style plastics or some creature baits. finally, I'd bring some worms or minnows as a fail safe. Hard to resist the real deal lol hope this helps and I'd like to hear how you do if you go!
This was so refreshing to watch
Thank you 😊
What a beautiful place!! 😃
It sure is! It's an interesting place to hike and fish.
The Niagara area is a beautiful place to explore!
It sure is!
Looks awesome! I want to go this weekend, is this the Canadian side? Any recommendations on where to park and what lures to use?

Oh, thank you for your comment!
The snake is an Eastern Water snake
Thanks for the identification on the snake. It did startle me not expecting to see a snake at my feet lol
