the best thing about mocks is that, the Bionicle universe is so vast, there are meany stories that can be made, and millions of characters to be mad, also using and altering parts makes it look like a complete and interchanging ecosystem that is interesting and inventive
I think that having the silver pieces sharpied gold looks really good. The few places where the silver shows through gives him and "aged" look, and I really like it.
I was painting some masks for a friend and found if you scratch the surface of the plastic with "fast orange" (with the grit in it) and a tooth brush the paint covers nicely and no bleed through.

When i first saw the first tazzuk a long time ago, i thought it was one of the best makuta ive ever seen. Now that ive seen this version, its now my all time favorite makuta.

funny, but i actually like how some of the silver still shows. gives the armour a battle-worn look.
just throughing this out there you might want to put a second coat on the gold parts then put some top coat it works wonders
